This is only the beginning of the Easter eggs in store for people because of Obama Care. Geez, if Walgreen's is the only pharmacy in town, Medicaid patients better stock up on bus tokens because getting their prescriptions will be a safari. This isn't all of it either. Doctors and Medical centers will get split up into networks. Meaning, you could have a medical facility right next door to your house, but if it's not in your network get ready to travel to one that is. But don't worry Gasoline is only about $3.25 a gallon so that 40 mile round trip shouldn't cost you too much. BTW it does NOT count toward your Obama Care deductible or Yearly our of Pocket.

I don't believe for one second that WalGreeens is losing money on prescriptions sold to Medicaid Patients.

This is one state, and it has nothing to do with Obamacare. This is quite the stretch to try and complain about Obamacare that's for sure.

    Not neccesarily.

It could be that they aren't losing money , but they aren't making enough to justify the hassle (which isn't the same thing as losing money)

or PERHAPS (gasp) they are lying to make a political point.

In EITHER case, I find it impossible to believe that they are losing money on Medicaid sales.

Keep in mind that it is Medicaid, and not Medicare that is being discussed here.

They are giving it up for fun then? Cost controls always always always lead to shortages eventually. When will the left learn this simple lesson? Why are you all so economically illiterate? remember when we froze oil prices? And had a shortage? Why didnt Japan with no oil have no shortage at the same time?

Uh, that's a really stupid thing to say. This article is useless. They now have expanded medicaid and if they don't want to make the money then good riddance. This has absolutely nothing at all to do with Obamacare, and any connection is ridiculous on it's face.

    Personal insult noted and reported.

By what function of law was Medicaid expanded?

They are a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing private company, they can do whatever they want. Not to accept Medicaid, for an instance.

Hard to believe, one man can so fundamentally transform America in such a short time, is it not? :)
