I agreed that excessive taxes is a bad idea. But what is excessive to you may not be to my way of thinking.

Yet since we both believe taxatiob can be excessive at least if we were in congress we could compromise!

As our congress did for years before they went nuts.

 

There is no reasonable excuse for perpetual war that is not in actual self defense.

I would rather we do like japan and pay our manufacturers to bring home those jobs and protect those jobs from sweat shop labor using tariffs as we did for all of our history until the 90s

We cannot be dependent upon others for medical supplies and meds. Nor for anything needed for wars of self defense . If we were to lose that one ammo factory in florida our soldiers would be hurling rocks against our enemies as they used bullets.

Being self sufficient should trump max profits and wealth for the few !!
Trade is for building friendship and specialty goods like french wine Things we cannot make or for raw materials.

Each nation should make what its people consume and protected from sweat shop labor . Employing its own people. If you dont have enough workers bring in good immigrants as we used to do for our factories and give them ccitizenship! Get rid of hb1 visas tthat coreporations use to keep wages too low in those sectors .

Ditch the stupid idea that taking care of your citizens is Nazi styled nationalism. That is like if you look out for your own family first that this is some great evil!

If a govt does not put its own people first that is what evil is ! And shirking responsibility .
