Interesting propaganda... an otherwise unimportant twerp gets the spotlight and strikes fear into the heart of the American public.

Don't think anyone denies that there are a very noticeable % of Saudi Wahhabi who glory in the death of a shahid and a bunch more that are more than willing to offer non-combatant support from the "sidelines". But that is not "All the Saudis" by any measure applied.

The Saudis are putting those guys in prison and freezing the assets of those who send money to ISIL.. You really should make some effort to stay abreast of what's going on and read the Arab newspapers.

    - - - Updated - - -

You don't seem to know anything about the Saudis or Wahhabis .. or even the meaning of the word "Shaheed"...

Are you suggesting that here are no ultra orthodox wahhabbi in Saudi Arabia ones who gladly support perpetuation of jihad against the shia apostates?

And at least according to my sources my use of "shahid" was entirely appropriate. Might want to take it of "knee jerk" for a while.

Supporters of ISIL would be few and far between... and most Saudis are basically indifferent to the Sunni/Shia differences. You could see that for yourself if you spent a few years in Arabia.

Shaheed means witness... The Israelis decided it means "suicide bomber".

No ... it doesn't say that in the Koran.

Anyone who suffers for their faith... losing family and friends, having their homes or businesses or farms, olive groves taken from them and/or destroyed are Shaheed.

I doubt you've ever read the koran

Shahid or Shaheed (Arabic: شهيد,‎ šahīd, plural: شُهَدَاء šuhadāʾ ) originates from the Qur'anic Arabic word meaning "witness" and is also used to denote a "martyr." It is used as an honorific for Muslims who have died fulfilling a religious commandment, especially those who die wielding jihad, or historically in the military expansion of Islam.

The word shahid in Arabic means "witness". Its development closely parallels that of Greek marturos "witness", the origin of the term martyr. Shahid occurs frequently in the Quran in the generic sense "witness", but only once in the sense "martyr; one who dies deliberately for his faith"; this latter sense becomes standardized in the hadiths.[1]

President Obama, or more accurately his spokesman, says it's not a war.

Hummm.... I guess America and ISIS are just having a spat.

You have to understand the nature of the ISIS.

They are small in number...about 20,000 now and that number is being lowered as I type.

They are spread out over several Middle Eastern Nations mostly in Iraq and Syria but not limited to just those nations.

They are NOT a viable fighting force but they have taken advantage of Sunni's in Iraq who will not kill other Sunni's as to do so in their mind would condemn them to HELL.

And those who CREATED the ISIS...and it's Leadership are VERY SMART....as they were able to indoctrinate a great number of Criminally Insane, Mentally Ill, Psychopaths, Sociopaths and those without any direction....and use them to create Chaos....which the leadership...KNOWS....the United States will not allow and thus will crush...and this opens up other doors and presents other oppertunities for them.

I know more about this issue than I can talk about here but what most people see and think they know...I can tell you right now there is a whole other agenda planned by those I would just LOVE to come out of retirement and be tasked with a JOB to END.

How few and far between? If most are indifferent, (which I am fully prepared to accept) how many are not indifferent? Is it 1% or 10% or 30%.

I most definitely did not suggest that all Saudis support such perverse religious ideology, but there is enough of a minority in Saudi Arabia and that minority has access to very large piles of cash.

Shadid means witness, but also means martyr. Granted the Palestinians did being using is to mean martyr (typically a suicide nutbar), but that accepted definition is now part of the Islamist lexicon.

    Surely you know this.

They recruit already indoctrinated Muslims and their direction is fighting in the ways of Allah. To emulate the prophet Muhammad and the "Rightly Guided" Caliphs and Caliphates.
