This is a response from a women that I read on another Forum ... I though I would share it with some of the more progressive and less intrusive women on this forum for their commons or thoughts. Personally I don't think I have the right to dictate what happens to anyone's body but my own, but then that's just my opinion and beliefs.
Thank you to those of you who PMs your thoughts, I know this isn't a popular subject on this forum. But the fact is, I do have a Mother, Sisters, a Wife and plenty of female friends and neighbors who beleive that a bunch of old anal men don't have the right to mandate probing of their bodies; and I have to say as a Man ... I agree.
Considering this Highly and Widely Covered issue couldn't be more current in this Century ... let alone this entire week; I thought some of our Forum Members would be interested ... and based on my PMs, it looks like they are.
That woman deserves commendation. How correct she is. This is not about abortion at all, its about setting womens rights back 100 years.
unbelievable. You're dupes. Do you honestly think this. I knew just straight up democrat women especially the young ones were so easily led along by the nose on stuff like this but YOU GUYS?? You're too old to be this easy. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. DO YOU EVEN know what these hearings are about?? NO ONE is trying to take away your contraception FORCRYINGOUTLOUD. And you are STILL going to BE ABLE To KILL yoUR uNBORN in your WOMBS. YOU"RE just unbefreakinglievable.
Never try to have rational discussion with someone who starts the debate by calling you a Dope. Just wait for them to get a vocabulary equal to yours.
Mak. I Would like for you to take the words, actual words of one republican and show me where your birth control is banned. INSTEAD you're getting your bowels in an uproar by democrats CLAIMING THAT repubs are gonna do this, they're gonna do that to women, BASED ON NOTHING except they hope to make you fearful and get your can to the polls this coming november. ALL LIES. Take a look at this from the christianpost whoever that is. Sebelius says this, sebelius says that. And Maxine Waters calls republican house leaders demons. Now i ask you. WHAT is the positive intent of that? do you know? It's to make sure you don't turn out the number one worst president in the history of the country. Give me a direct quote. PLEASE. http://www.christianpost.com/news/gop-would-ban-abortion-set-back-womens-health-hhs-sec-says-57425/
I knew it. You don't even know what the hearings are for. Are Norton and Mcwhatshername stupid or are they devious. and Which are you? This is NOT a hearing on CONTRACEPTION. IT is a HEARING ON Whether the President has the power to just tell the catholic church or the insurance companies what they must do. He doesn't by the way. But it would sure be nice if you would at least know what the h was going on.
Actually ... I get all my "expert" information from this Forum. You have no idea how many quotes from this Forum as pass on to those who want a good laugh.
A law that says a fetus is a person from the moment of conception is being debated. If it passes, this will outlaw most forms of birth control, as BC can expel an embryo after conception.
THIS is what santorum said on Birth Control. Here's what Santorum told the Washington Post's Melinda Henneberger on January 6 about this very subject: I was asked if I believed in it, and I said, No, Im a Catholic, and I dont. I dont want the government to fund it through Planned Parenthood, but thats different than wanting to ban it; the idea Im coming after your birth control is absurd. I was making a statement about my moral beliefs, but I wont impose them on anyone else in this case. I dont think the government should be involved in that. People are free to make their own decisions. Read more: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-s...-said-hed-be-fine-states-outlaw#ixzz1mbZlfUtu
Missouri has had the law that Makedde is so fearful of for the past 25-35 years and it hasn't prevented women from getting contraceptives nor having their abortions. It appears what the lawmakers are doing is to alleviate some discrepancies in the law where an unborn if harmed before birth such as an attack on the mother by someone else, then that unborn is considered a person and the attacker can be held accountable. I know i said that with too many words but i'm fatigued this evening and i think i'm just gonna turn in.
