So China should be given a pass? I'm talking about China that is where the super virus was bio engineered.

Covid did get the great senile one the Whitehouse.

No, it was a hoax only to hurt Trump and you'll never hear about it again after 2020 elections.....wait......

Well if Flynn is correct then they are not at fault. At best they may be the hired henchmen of the global elites like Gates and Soros but given the resources of the elites they probably have their own labs.

    No, COVID itself didn't.

Trump's aloof can't-be-bothered attitude about it during all of 2020 did. If he had acted like an adult instead of a child, not only would he have won the election, he would have had no need to spend 2 months stoking people's anger with fake election fraud narratives that eventually caused the Jan 6th capital riot.

For the record I'm a moderate on China and our relations and economic relationship. I think our economic relationship is not as toxic and unfair as people think. Obviously we have to stop allowing them to steal our IP and military secrets. That is just dumb.

We do need to stand strong against them and stop acting like they are beyond criticism. They caused this pandemic and they need to pay restitution. This thing will end up costing us trillions and every patriotic American should be outraged.

Trump's attitude hurt him politically. Still he did a good job mobilizing industry and bio pharma to get us testing, ventilators and vaccines. That's what I voted for.

That is a pretty bold statement when you just started a thread proposing your own theory based on conjecture. Flynn is a know quantity. We know his military achievements, we know he was the NSA for Donald Trump. It is not difficult to surmise that his has inside connections and sources from both military and government. Sure his theory may be wrong but he presented it and put his reputation on the line. If people were to compare that to your theory where you have no links to creditable sources that support or champions this theory. You provide a link to public stat source and from that draw conclusions based on your beliefs. You are a rando person on the internet where we do not know what you name or background is and you are calling Flynn a moron for putting his theory out? I could see it differently if you were simply taking a side with credible sources and you were simply relying on their reputation but really this battle comes down to you vs Flynn.

Locking down cities with a population of 10 million forcing everyone to stay inside their homes, no one allowed in or out just because one person tested positive in the city is one way to keep cases and deaths low

China had a lockdown that would make the freedom convoy wet it’s pants. People who left their home during the initial lockdown were questioned, Temperature checked and then forced back indoors. It was very strict.

After the initial outbreak China probably fudged their numbers too.

I have no doubt that the virus was probably leaked by Chinese doctors who were studying it but probably due to incompetence rather than malice.

So your saying that Trump administration failed to protect the US from a bioweapon which led to the deaths of
    more Americans than any war.

You don't know that. You are assuming....with no evidence...that it was not a bioweapon. It may or may not be a bioweapon...but it has weakened the US. Weakened our small business base. Weakened our way of life. And hurt our education. I am willing to bet China is happy with a Weakened USA. So in short could it be a bioweapon? It was...whether inadvertant or planned...it Weakened us and it originated from China.

US and China are trading partners. Besides for the shut down in their own factories, what would they benefit from having a million less consumers buying their products? China loses from decreased trade with the US. Why would they spread a disease to their own people first and then magically hope it hops the continent to the US? It doesn’t make basic sense.

I'm not arguing that Covid 19 was a planned bioweapon. I don't have evidence for or against. But China most definitely is our military and economic adversary. They are not our friend. We simply work together...but in past and currently now...China works to have the advantage in trade and power. They work for their own interests only. And they are a totaltarian communist country. We can't trust china.

It's like wondering if the Chiculub meteor was an attack by aliens.

No. Sometimes these things just happen. Life on this planet is predominantly microbial. We are a tiny minority. Consequently, we are constantly at war, in a sense, with a vast enemy that rapidly evolves (relative to how we do) to infect new hosts, and RNA viruses are especially good at doing this since they undergo more mutation than DNA viruses. Here is some info about that:

RNA viruses have high mutation rates—up to a million times higher than their hosts—and these high rates are correlated with enhanced virulence and evolvability, traits considered beneficial for viruses. However, their mutation rates are almost disastrously high, and a small increase in mutation rate can cause RNA viruses to go locally extinct. Researchers often assume that natural selection has optimized the mutation rate of RNA viruses, but new data shows that, in poliovirus, selection for faster replication is stronger and faster polymerases make more mistakes. The fabled mutation rates of RNA viruses appear to be partially a consequence of selection on another trait, not because such a high mutation rate is optimal in and of itself.

How was China locking down for several months an economic reason for them?

We buy electronic parts, pcbs, from China. We had to go elsewhere for 1/2 of 2020. And they are still not caught up.
    Some economic gain they got.
    LOL.

My statements are based on factual history of our military and economic relationship with China.

But hey...if you want to trust them....go for it. I

If it was engineered to kill people and I'm not saying that it was or wasn't it would be most likely engineered to kill elderly Chinese because China is in the grips of an extreme demographic problem.

They have a lot of pensioners and a birth rate lower than that of the birth rate during the famine.

This is the biggest threat to China and it's a virus that seems almost designed to Target elderly people.
