Actually, one of the main reasons I stay here is to see what the right wingers and the Trumpster are falling for and telling one another.

They live in a closed loop of confirmantion bias.

No legitimate news organization anywhere in the world carried any report about smashed hard drives. But the usual collection of right wing American trash blogs all parrot it in unison. None of these people have any sort of journalistic standards or ethics. And none of them have a track record for being truthful. But they do feed red meat to a receptive and gullible audience, which comes back for more, no matter how often they get lied to.

As The Daily Caller reports, three brothers (Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan) who managed office IT for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and other lawmakers were abruptly relieved of their duties on suspicion that they accessed congressional computer networks without permission.

July 26, 2017 -- Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz decides to fire Imran Awan after he is caught attempting to escape to Pakistan. Hmm...., Things that make you wonder what's going on in the Democratic Party.

All of these people employ journalists and observe ethical standards. They may favor a particular point of view, but they don't trade in lies, fear mongering, and ridiculous hysteria. And they admit their mistakes. It's always funny watching right wingers attack what they call a liberal news outlet for admitting they got something wrong. Right wing media never admits their frequent mistakes. More often than not, they'll wait a few months and tell the same lie all over again.

If you note the lack of television and talk radio, it's because they are not primary sources of information for me.

It is not what they do say that is the issue. It is what they don't say. That has always been the issue.

They and so many others cover up scandals faster than you can turn the page or fail to mention them at all. And that is thee crime where the media manipulates public opinion.

They couldn't have enough room in their offices for all the investigators on Trump for the past two years. But somehow no one realized what a criminal and liar Hillary has been the past 8 years. And obama! Nixon had to resign because of an 18 minute gap in a tape. Hillary destroyed 30,000 emails, hard drives and blackberries after subpoenaed and your glorious news sources had no problem with that. Neither did congress or the DOJ. All cowards and crooks.

 

Schulz fired him today, AFTER he was arrested. He and his brothers are the DNC hackers, not Russia. His wife Alvi worked for democrat Rep Gregory Meeks. She fled in March back to Pakistan with her three kids. And the democrats wonder why they can't win elections.

Just curious. Slightly off topic but I'm considering starting a thread with that question. Everyone seems to discount everyone else's sources. Myself included. Everyone has a preference based on political leanings.

 

Considering Schultz fired him then wouldn't she be just as guilty of islamophobia?

 

I missed the reply where you refute that the Pakistani hacker wasn't terminated by congressmen who discovered his unauthorized intelligence gathering. I couldn't find anywhere that you explain the reason that Schultz kept him on the DNC payroll afterwards, and continued to grant him network access. None the less, maybe you can explain why democrats are continuing to defend him. Bank fraud, money laundering, hacking, collusion with foreign powers ... Why the sudden loss of interest in your favorite topics?

 

Those media outlets you name needn't report on the accuracy of what's been going in the DNC and the Democratic Party but the fact that others are reporting on it. They could couch their statements with ways such as 'Fox News and others are reporting....' , 'yet to be verified', and that would be real news. But remaining silent on serious reports such as these lends credibility to the charges of Fake News, or their silence on stories which might hurt the Democratic Party.
