Arizona Teacher's Letter Reignites Immigration Debate

    Published March 22, 2011

    | FoxNews.com

The letter by substitute teacher Tony Hill was read aloud Thursday as the state Senate considered one of five bills on illegal immigration. Hill wrote that a majority of eight-grade students who he taught recently at an unnamed Glendale school refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance and declared that "We are Mexicans and Americans stole our land."

Hill went on to write: "I have found that (in) substitute teaching in these areas most of the Hispanic students do not want to be educated but rather (want to) be gang members and gangsters. They hate America and are determined to reclaim this area for Mexico."

Well, that's not very hopey-changy at all. No sir. Unless, the progressives have a very different change in mind.

They are coming and getting it. We are paying them to have babies, and "get it" in the form of a monthly check and section eight housing. As with the Muslims in France and Israel, it's simply a matter of demographics and time.

Well not really. The French did not take France from a Muslim nation, but the US took a part of Mexico from the Mexican's.

It's interesting as right wing American's generally state that Israel belonged to the Israeli's before the Muslims, therefore the Israeli's have first dabs on ownership, meanwhile not applying the same thought process to their own country.

    Odd that.

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, signed on February 2, 1848, by American diplomat Nicholas Trist and Mexican plenipotentiary representatives Luis G. Cuevas, Bernardo Couto, and Miguel Atristain, ended the war and gave the U.S. undisputed control of Texas, established the U.S.-Mexican border of the Rio Grande River, and ceded to the United States the present-day states of California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, most of Arizona and Colorado, and parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wyoming. In return, Mexico received US $18,250,000[46] ($461,725,000 today)—less than half the amount the U.S. had attempted to offer Mexico for the land before the opening of hostilities[47]—and the U.S. agreed to assume $3.25-million ($82,225,000 today) in debts that the Mexican government owed to U.S. citizens.[9]

But, if you are making the argument that they will try to take back the West, you are probably on to something.

Two things need to happen in order to fix the immigration problem.

1.) Everybody must admit how large of a problem there is and realize that there is no justification for it. (psstt.. Liberals) Suture your bleeding hearts and replace the brain matter lost through being "open minded".

2.) Employers who hire illegals need to be raked over the coals. Punished to the fullest extent. Their greed has been a major factor in all of this.

In the end, "might makes right". Just as laws are only as good as your ability to enforce them, we have laws to be able to manage our turf, but do not enforce them. What we owe these Mexicans is a chance to either be a law-abiding productive American, or a boot in the ass back across the border, or a jail cell, or a potter's grave.

Imagine the following: I have a gun (I have might) and I shoot you dead.

Was I right to do this?

    Thought not.

Exactly, a healthy white, Christian middle class is an impediment to the global socialist utopia that they have planned for us. You don't have to be white, Christian or middle class to be a victim of the progressives. All will suffer under their rule, but those are the groups that block their way the most.

Thank you. The reason that I mentioned Muslims in France is one of demographics and a lack of cultural integration. But, there is a military history there too. A Muslim army invaded France. They were stopped at Tours (also known as the Battle of Poitiers). Do you have any reason that they wouldn't have a second go at a weakened France with a large Muslim population?

"One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory." -- Boumédienne, President of Algeria 76-78

    I found this part interesting...

Grant's views on the warPresident Ulysses S. Grant, who as a young army lieutenant had served in Mexico under General Taylor, recalled in his Memoirs, published in 1885, that:

Generally, the officers of the army were indifferent whether the annexation was consummated or not; but not so all of them. For myself, I was bitterly opposed to the measure, and to this day regard the war, which resulted, as one of the most unjust ever waged by a stronger against a weaker nation. It was an instance of a republic following the bad example of European monarchies, in not considering justice in their desire to acquire additional territory.[58]

Grant also expressed the view that the war against Mexico had brought punishment on the United States in the form of the American Civil War:

The Southern rebellion was largely the outgrowth of the Mexican war. Nations, like individuals, are punished for their transgressions. We got our punishment in the most sanguinary and expensive war of modern times.[59]

''Abuse the system'' is just another term for stealing....If we do not stop it, it's our fault...We should expect this ''stealing'' to occur and have enough checks in the system to avoid it. It's obvious we do not, we have to find out if this is just oversight or made by design. My guess, it's both.

HELL, I would give it to them if it guaranteed we would be left alone. It wont, as soon as they ruin it completely they will start in all over again, it's not the Land that makes a country great, it's the people. They want what we create, it's known as stealing....
Now I am not saying we are any better than them, we simply achieve differently and have different goals. Why that is I am not exactly sure, I would imagine it has to do with the building of Government and corruption.

I'm aware of the Muslim invasions of southern Europe.

Boumédienne was wrong however. They will not come with the primary intention to conquer, they will come because of the natural drive of any species to migrate when the land they presently occupy becomes unsuitable for their lives. In this, the irony will be that we Westerners will have caused this with our unfettered industrialisation / polution. They will come and they will be starving. Which is why some of us are concerned about the state of the environment.

Are the people of Mexico coming here because of pollution?, or because of opportunity? and Government aid?
