    Increasing frequency? How frequent? And do those numbers in a year even come CLOSE to matching what the black population does in a year?

    Yes I do but my point is that if those other laws can pass strict scrutiny then tell me how this one wouldn't.

    More specifically tell me how it's acceptable to explicitly discriminate against white people and yet it's not unconstitutional.

    Yes it is ok to discriminate against any group if you can make the case for strict scrutiny and compelling interest. Now.....make your case

    How the hell does discriminating against white people for government contracts pass strict scrutiny. **** of here lol

    The other option we have is to stop giving blacks advantages that others don't have. But that would result in punishing people who don't deserve it.

    Why does it have to be violent crimes? Whether it's violent crime or not is completely irrelevant to whether or not it is acceptable to discriminate against a race. If discrimination against a race is allowed in one area then it must be allowed in all.

    No it most certainly doesn't. But if discrimination against one race is allowed then discrimination against other races must be allowed.

    But sure since you're being purposefully obtuse I'll make the case.

    If you are part of a group that is overrepresented by say more than two times your population rate in regards to the type of violent crime you commit then you will be given a far more severe penalty.

    Because your thread is about violent crime and you seem to think there are some type of discrimination against white Americans in the criminal justice code. Give examples or admit you are just pulling things from your ass.

    And if the country is already violent, using population numbers is wholly unacceptable/irrelevant. The man that shot up a music venue killed a whole slew of people and imho focusing on just black people would have criminal justice experts overlook such individuals.

    Anyway, as others pointed out, you'd do better using gender as profile than you would race, but we don't do that. Why? Because it'll be too many people to profile. Look once again at crime stats by the numbers. Consider that the numbers you see don't begin to cover those who haven't been caught yet, those the police won't bother to chase more violent criminals because they are after easier busts, and missing people whose bodies have yet to be discovered. When you think of these things, I hope you realize that attempting to focus on one group, would have a whole lot of victims without justice.

    No not because they're black. The other three are more than enough. Show ANY evidence that blacks who commit crimes without a firearm, without prior records and who hire an attorney get stricter sentencing. You can't because it doesn't exist.

    I NEVER said white people are discriminated against in violent crime. I stated they're discriminated against by laws on the books in this country. Which they are.
