Why? As a society we have decided to have rules for what what activities groups of people can do in public places, so whats the difference in creating rules for what religious people can do in public places?

What make religious people sacrosanct to rules? Why is questioning someones belief in an invisible being automatically sacrosanct?

I cannot answer this one, to me they (the good Muslims) should have the same right as the Christians do.
If you can't live with that, the law might have to be altered to an Australia for Whites and Christians and blue-eyes only....

Yes.

I went to a predominately Muslim fair day a couple of months ago. Civil, friendly and courteous. The kids played just like Aussie kids play. And the parents were 'normal' -- looking out for their kids and having a nice day out. Why do some people TAR EVERYONE with the same brush? I don't get that. It's irrational.

We have one poster who dislikes the Indigenous, dislikes all Australians, thinks they're all stupid... and Muslims... and God knows if there's anyone left on the planet for him to like.

 

I hope youre not referring to me...the only person I hate is my dentist....
Although I dont trust a lot of people...and I think thats human nature in the world of today...
and I think people have the right to decide who they trust and who they dont trust.....
until that person or persons prove that they can be trusted........

You know as well as I do that all religions should be separate from from the State - meaning politics, but they are not. Everyone who has religious views and who doesn't have religious views should be treated equally, but they are not; religion still dominates human societies and communities. This situation is still happening even if the majority of people don't agree with the same religious views.

Religion from political intervention comes across into every aspect of human society and human communities.
