I did not say I thought you should refute anything. - You said folks had excuses for being pro abortion - but did not mention give any of these excuses nor state who these people were. So it was mostly a post without substance - the little substance it did have being fallacious gibberish. refute that
Misinformation? So what is your understanding of the NY law? For the sake of your dignity, you BETTER not still be trusting what @FoxHastings to you without doing your own research. You've had DAYS to do your own research and I even gave you a helping hand by giving you the link to the Wikipedia article! This is correct.
See post #706. I put you on notification for it (@chris155au ), as well as mentioned my doing so, in a reply to you, immediately afterward. For my source, I used the law, as posted in a prior thread specifically about this law, by kazenatsu. That law, from what was posted, shows 1) that the usual cutoff, in NY, for abortions is 24 weeks, which I find to be acceptably reasonable (as previously discussed); and 2) the later term abortions being allowed only extend to cases in which the life or health of the mother is at risk. You had said that it made all abortions legal, as I recall. This is, from reading the actual statute, blatantly false. The only interpretation that would make that true would be kazenatsu's utterly unrealistic one, which I cover, in detail, in post #706.
No, the fertilized egg/zygote/fetus would NOT be transferable, which seems entirely reasonable in this scenario of a hypothetical artificial womb.
Yes, I think you're like most people, not sure. Most people envision abortion at 4 weeks pretty much the same as they do at 14 weeks. Or even 24 weeks. Because they just do not really actually know that much about it. "Abortion is abortion", after all. But there are HUGE differences between different gestational development points.
Oh, do show some proof of how you know what "most people" think …. A fetus isn't viable until 23-24 weeks....
If you think "viability" is the only criteria... Okay, do YOU think there's a big difference between 10 and 18 weeks, or do you think of them as pretty much the same? (or nearly the same)
For what? FoxHastings said: ↑ Oh, do show some proof of how you know what "most people" think …."" Then, a totally evasive non-related reply by Kas:
