This is the moonshine I gave to my brother-in-law today. I couldn't keep it , lol. If I got that drunk I'd get lippy and the wife would have me out in the yard beatin my mouthy ass.hahahah
I got this for (*)(*)(*)(*)s and giggles. I tried it the other day i liked it. Something to keep around for friends to try. Chocolate vodka.
I love the sherry oaks. They're my favourite whiskies. I'm not a fan of the other lines, i.e. fine oak, gold, etc.
Beer- Yuengling Rum- Sailor Jerry Scotch- Glenmorangie - port cask. Various vodkas, brandies and schnapps. Seldom drink gin, but if I do it is bombay sapphire.
Any micro-brewery beers from the area I happen to be in. Guinness. Rum. Preferably some of that really good El Salvadoran stuff I always forget the name of, but I'll take Mount Gay as a back-up. Bombay Sapphire Gin & Tonic, for the summer. Oh and French Coffee. I used to not put too much cognac in, but I was in this Paris cafe one time and this guy filled about 1/3rd of the mug with liquor....holy (*)(*)(*)(*). It was a good idea. Edit: silly me, forgetting the wine. If you like your wine sweet, Ice Wine is divine, and those crazy Quebecquois still have their ancestors' knack for winemaking. But you still can't beat a good European import.
Bourbon and Dr. Pepper is what I've been drinking lately, or Rum and Dr. Pepper, or any of those yummy fruity drinks. No Tequila though, omg I hate Tequila so much. Beer of choice would probably be Miller High Life but my taste in beer seems to keep changing lately too.
Welcome back! I drank some raspberry vodka with cran-raspberry juice mixed with it tonight. Last night was a natural ice night, lol. This is the perfect way to drink beer pasi...lol..
That would be your perfect way to drink beer! rofl! Actually I'm sure if I got drunk enough I wouldn't mind having it that way either. xD
I mostly just drink water. Every couple of weeks or so I make a pot of coffee. Sometimes I even make some iced tea with juice but I almost always drink water. On the seldom occasion I drink alcohol I drink Fireball because the cinnamon mostly covers the awful alcohol taste.
I have a handy little single-cup coffee brewer that I use. It uses regular coffee, though, not the little cups that the Keurig system does, which of course makes it a far better value and more environmentally friendly. Even the filter is reusable, which makes me question the larger coffee makers' continued use of disposable filters.
My coffee pot has a plastic basket filter, but it doesn't filter out the finer particles of grit. The paper filter does, but I've noticed it has a tendency to collapse in on itself so I usually have the plastic filter inside of the paper filter to hold it open. Then I like to put 1/3 cup of coarse ground coffee into about a quart of hot water and stir and let set for a few minutes then I pour through the double filter. It would be easier to use a french press, but I tried one and it also had a problem stopping the grit. Anyway when my method is done it's really good.
Fancy stuff, at least compared to my set-up. My coffee is regular ground stuff in a can. It's coarse enough that I don't notice any grit in my coffee with that basket filter. I have also used coffee that I've ground myself in there, but even then I had no problem with it. I wonder, actually, whether my filter might be finer than yours? No idea how we would find out, though.
