    Seriously. Serious question.

I just read his own website:

    http://feelthebern.org/who-is-bernie-sanders/

    Are you effing kidding me?

So basically, he got a degree in Poli-sci. Toured around the country protesting. Worked some part time or volunteer jobs. And then got into politics.

And this guy has credential to drive the largest economy in the country. LMAO the left sure is doubling down on their candidates that have zero economic or military experience. Kind of reminds me of the credentials of the great community organizer.

Please. Please. Put Bernie on the ticket.

Obama was a smooth talker and black to boot. He gave the independents some hope and promise. Bernie? Lol. Seriously, put him up.

perhaps the biggest misconception in politics is the idea that the president drives the economy...

See my thread on Bernie's background. He was really good at attending woodstock festivals and not having a job.

Be honest. If I told you I was a 40 year old man who lived off an inheritance and never had a steady paycheck, would you want me in even your local government?

Our local elections do not have D's and R's as a matter of local custom. They are city-wide, so if 3 seats are up, you get 3 votes from the pool of candidates and the top 3 finishers get the seats. One guy tried to run as a democrat a few years back and he was thoroughly spanked by every candidate throughout the election for contaminating the election with partisanship and finished a very distant last.

    What has Bernie ever accomplished?

He may have found his own ass with both hands, a tour guide, a gps unit and a road map.

    Of course they do.

When the president had the power to pass or veto legislation that can have tremendous impact on the economy, such as the Affordable Care Act, they most certainly drive the economy.

Then, for the congress to be a puppet in the presidents pocket, they have even more economic capability.

Comrade Bernie has attempted and done many things.

Sanders during the 1980s "collaborated with Soviet and East German 'peace committees'" whose aim was "to stop President Reagan’s deployment of nuclear missiles in Europe.” Indeed, he “openly joined the Soviets’ 'nuclear freeze' campaign to undercut Reagan’s military build-up.” FAILED

In 1985 Sanders traveled to Managua, Nicaragua to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the rise to power of Daniel Ortega and his Marxist-Leninist Sandinista government.

He also visited Fidel Castro's Cuba in the 1980s and had a friendly meeting with the mayor of Havana.

In November 1989 Sanders addressed the national conference of the U.S. Peace Council, a Communist Party USA front.

By 1990 Sanders was a leading member of Jesse Jackson's National Rainbow Coalition

In 1991, Sanders founded the Congressional Progressive Caucus along with fellow House members Tom Andrews, Peter DeFazio, Ron Dellums, Lane Evans, and Maxine Waters.

During each year of the Bill Clinton administration—starting in 1993, shortly after the first al-Qaeda attack on the World Trade Center—Sanders introduced legislation to cut the U.S. intelligence budget sight unseen.

In November 2006 Sanders ran successfully for a seat in the U.S. Senate. Then-Senator Barack Obama, whom Sanders described as “one of the great leaders” of that legislative body, campaigned enthusiastically on Sanders's behalf. When a Washington Post reporter asked Sanders just prior to the election: “Are you now or have you ever been a Socialist?” Sanders replied, “Yeah. I wouldn’t deny it. Not for one second..."

In September 2011, Sanders was the first U.S. Senator to support the anti-capitalist Occupy Wall Street movement.

In September 2015, Sanders's presidential campaign received the support of the former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers.

In October 1988, journalist I. F. Stone, a former Soviet agent and secret member of the Communist Party USA, wrote a letter endorsing Sanders's congressional campaign. Said Stone: “He has proved that a socialist, running as an Independent … can be successful

All cities are different. And you do not need a letter behind your name to identify you, a persons vote record does that just fine.

He would be politically dead on arrival. He has so much crap against him it wouldn't take more then three television ads to sink his campaign.

Why, what has she done besides lie and screw up her foreign policy? She is tied to big money she will only be doing their bidding. Her policies aren't much different than Obama's.

You honestly think the same people who were going to elect Hillary will instead put in either Hitler's son, Dominionist I or Dominionist 2? because she mixed up some emails?

Now it's you who should get serious

The only way the Dems can lose is if we put up Sanders. The American people will not elect an extremist President, and the entire Republican party has become extremist. Sanders, unfortunately, is seen as more extremist then some of them, though that isn't so, but try telling anyone that.

I do not give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about her emails. I am not voting for her because she's a huge (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) who changes her views bases on poll results, just like her husband, who supported repealing Glass-Steagal, and signed NCLB into law. Sanders may be a little farther to the left than I like as a center-left libertarian, but I would rather have him in the whitehouse a that (*)(*)(*)(*). There are enough moderates and blue dogs in the party to balance out anything Sanders wants to do.

Sanders stands as much chance of being President as Arnold Ziffel the pig on the Green Acres TV show.
