I just cannot believe how, in your post, you insistently put the cart before the horse. What "shady dealings of Hunter"? What "attempt at a coup"? The Durham probe was a total flop, a nothing-burger - just acquittals by juries. Trump lost the 2020 election by over 5 million votes, doubly and triply audited as bonafide. Trump lost in the electoral college - also doubly and triply audited as bonafide. Even the firm that Trump himself hired to find fraud, found none. Harrumph! Trump's own A.G., Bill Barr, found no evidence of fraud; and nowadays refers to DJT as "the consummate narcissist". Trump's own chief of cyber security vouches for the 2020 election as the "most secure and fair in our nation's history". Trump, the sniveling coward that he is, promptly fired Chris Krebbs via Twitter. You people... you're lower than low and it's coming to light.

It's not an allegation, it's a fact. You can look it up yourself, or not. That's up to you.

Kindly don't confuse me with a salesperson. The facts are plain and the facts show that the Republican party has devolved into a demonic cult of insurrection, sedition and deep depravity. Doubtless, politics is a filthy dirty business all around. But 30 to 40 years ago there was at least a semblance of dignity and integrity. These days the GOP stands for racketeering and naught else. The Democrat party remains committed to real and substantial service to the needs of our citizenry, as evidenced by all of the wonderful legislation pushed through under the Biden administration -- legislation which virtually ALL Republicans voted against and yet they go home to their constituents and brag about the resultant benefits, taking credit like the two-faced ne'er-do-wells they are. Despicable to the nines. You can have it!

He has admitted repeatedly to doing what the federal charges say he did. The trial can only be won by him if the laws are found incorrect.

Georgia is even tougher because there his charges are more complicated and the State must get additional testimony. My bet is his former lawyer Rudi will turn on him. Again, it's fairly public that he did some of the crimes, the only question in those cases is does RICO apply.

I'm betting exile for.life rather than accepting prison time. Bankruptcy a forgone conclusion and he'll be living off his PAC funds. I'm not sure what the.laws.on his accepting money from his kids would work.

This is an example of the "reasonable suspicion" "evidence" they uncovered that should have had the DOJ all over it.

Show us the DOJ investigation into the treasonous act of trying to overthrow our government by Joe Biden and Obama in a failed coup attempt on a duly elected president in a failed insurrection.... Durham just uncovered was has been known for years.... without DOJ investigations ever happening...

Where is the DOJ investigations into Obama, Biden, Hillary and all the people in the intel that played along... the Durham uncovered it again after years of it already being public?

No! The majority of States have Republican controlled legislatures and those are the bodies that dictate districting. I believe that I can therefore prove conclusively that GOP gerrymanders a great deal more so than Dems. I'd like to delve into this in some detail but it belongs in a thread of its own.

BTW I haven't the foggiest idea what your 3-million vote deficit claim refers to. It clearly doesn't refer to the 2020 presidential election. I'll thank you to clarify that reference.

Arggh -- wordplay! On second thought, what I actually tire of hearing is folks saying "you're innocent until proven guilty in this country". You are innocent until proven guilty in North Korea fer chrissake! You are innocent until proven guilty in Iran. It's always your way (or his/her way) until proven otherwise. The Moon is made of green cheese until proven different. The Earth is flat until proven otherwise. Rome was built in a day until proven otherwise. What the hell was I thinking?? It's just stupid old wordplay. I should expect no different (unless proven otherwise). Arghhhhhhh!

Redundant. As already cited, Trump instructed his AG, Bill Barr to yes, investigate, and Barr flatly responded, "No fraud". Where have you been?

I take it you are forgetting the GOP investigations into Joe Biden and some five seperate articles of impeachment filed on the House Floor by GOP congresspersons.

As for the investigation, if there is one, no one from the FBI or DOJ is going to tell the world that is the case. The defendant, however, can, just as DJT has said so plenty of times.

That's your excuse for politicized prosecutions and charging lawful acts as "crimes" so that you can jail Bribed Biden's leading opponent that is tied with him in the polls?

Have fun selling that to the voters. Too many of these Left wing folks seem to think they are entitled to the power the voters have granted them, when the purpose of the grant of power is ONLY so that they can work to secure OUR rights, not rig elections for Bribed Joe by jailing his opponent.

Emerson's latest poll is out and it's TRUMP PLUS ONE.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/e...ral_election_trump_vs_biden_vs_west-8249.html

Emerson, in their final poll of 2020 had Biden with a 5 point lead.

    https://emersonpolling.reportablene...-poll-biden-with-five-point-lead-one-week-out

The GA indictments are where they crapped the bed. They charged it as an 'illegal act' that Trump sent a message asking for a couple of PA officials phone numbers? Do you ever step back, and in a moment of self-assessment wonder: "have they lost their minds?" Because that's the question the voters are asking and that's why each round of these ridiculous indictments increases Trump's support.

I think you all would do better if you were committed to integrity by prosecutors, free and fair elections, and securing the rights of your fellow Americans rather than subjecting them to malicious prosecution.

In the 2022 Congressional elections Republicans outpolled Dems by 3 million votes, but, because Dems did a better job with gerrymandering, and they often do, they carried a higher percentage of seats than their percentage of the vote.

It's a cold hard fact that you can look up for yourself. You guys gaslight each other with the idea that the GOP regularly carries more seats than their percentage of the vote to the point that you all repeat this fable as if it were fact. Did you ever think to double check it? Well, I did, and you are free to do so as well, or not, I could care less.

It that a joke.... the House can't indict.

What law prevents DOJ from confirming or denying their investigations to Congressional oversight...?

I looked it up. During the Tea Party era Republicans definitely benefitted from gerrymandering more
than their adversaries. Since then, not so much.

    [clipping from https://www.brookings.edu/articles/the-gerrymander-myth/]:

So why do so many well-informed observers believe that House elections structurally favor Republicans? The short answer is that until recently, they did. Here are the results of the four elections in the Tea Party era:

    TABLE TWO: 2010-2016
Share of popular vote (%) Number of Republican seats
    -------------------------------------
    Dems Reps Proportional* Actual Difference
    2010 44.9 51.7 233 242 +9
    2012 48.8 47.7 215 234 +19
    2014 45.5 51.2 230 247 +17
    2016 48.0 49.1 220 241 +21
[*Based on the Republican share of the two-party vote; calculations by the author]

    I quoted the OP.

Was it a tease, or was the post base on ignorance? Poster never answered the question. Republicans do that a lot. They make statements they cannot substantiate.

Innocent until proven guilty means that the burden of proof is on the prosecution. That's all it really means. In a practical sense, it means all the defense has to do it introduce a "reasonable doubt." A jury acting properly could think there's a 60% chance of a person being guilty, but that's not good enough. 40% is a pretty significant doubt even if they are "probably guilty." Prior to this rule, there were some areas where somebody had to prove they were not guilty to avoid punishment.

If you're being targeted by police or the FBI, it's because they think you're guilty. They don't presume you're innocent. They're looking for the "bad guys" and think you're one of them. Prosecutors won't give you a shred of a benefit of the doubt. But the jury and judge must, because the burden of proof is on the prosecution, and the police/FBI provide them with the evidence.

I think this is far better than the alternative... but the adversarial and competitive nature of it is a little bothersome. I would rather all sides be committed to the truth rather than a battle of lawyers trying to manipulate juries. But in practice that's hard for people to do.
