Although Putin is not the nicest guy and darling of Americans, he's right, without any doubts. The war in Syria is not an American war, it is a fight for establishment of Islamic Umma and Sharia Caliphates, not for democracy and freedom. If Obama like to fight, he should take his nice family and go to Syria alone as an advisor. The 'rebels' will surely very appropriate it if Bro Hussein Obama himself join his bearded brothers.

    Hi Ostap Bender,
Nice to see that you became a guru. You are a perspicacious observer, I must say.
What I dont understand, why did he have to arm the rebels and aid them, same politics that were excoriating by Putin, which can be credibly impugned..that exacerbated things..why to aid and abet them.

It is like predetermining a war. Of course, if you aid them eventually, they become stronger and more capable to topple the government...but still the Syrians would be ahead in of the game.

This is the main reason to why there is a possibility of a war. because the rebels got stronger and Assad became more extreme.

In the final analysis that will happen 2 years from now, arming the rebels will be considered as a cause to escalating this whole thing, and getting the Iranians involved.
