    Talk about "beatable!"

    I LOVE it!

By the way. . .as an Independent, I will be voting in your primaries!:roflol:

Frankly it does not really matter as a conservative at any level is not likely to win again in a general Presidential election here unless there is some sort of mass upheaval. The culture of having the government take from those with and give to those that need, is far to entrenched now. A candidate voicing the virtues of free enterprise and picking ones own self up by ones own bootstraps, is a losing philosophy here now. A candidate saying "I'll pay for your cell phone and I'll pay for your health insurance, has a much better chance.

Nope, that is untrue. Conservatives just need to get their head out of their tails. America isn't buying the bible thumping agenda anymore. Leave it alone and concentrate on an economic platform. The people will listen.

    Example - Christie

People who want other people to pay $7,500 towards their purchase of a Chevy Volt, or people who want other people to pay for their Obama phone, or voters that expect those who earn enough to pay for the health insurance of those that do not earn a lot, are not going to listen to common sense messages about economics. The candidate who wins next election will be the candidate that promotes this government entitlement stuff. That will not be a Conservative.

These people can't even imagine how it is. They can't understand the nasty underbelly of racism. Somehow, I think they really know and spend a lot of time denying it. Everyone is prejudice. You, me and especially the people that deny it. They are worst.

When Malcolm X traveled to Mecca, he saw how it could be and that gave him the drive. In middle east, race does matter and it really affected him. Religion does matter in ME. All of us have our demons.

If he would have lived, I wonder how things would have turned out.

Nope, it just shows how deluded conservatives like you are. America is a strong fiscally conservative nation. Conservatives lose votes with their hyper religious anti-abortion, anti-gay, pro white Christian church-going male routine. People aren't knocking the fiscal policies of the GOP (although Bush surely didn't help the track record). People just don't want bible thumping ideology rammed down their throat in public policy. Consider how hypocritical the GOP looks when it preaches individual liberty and freedom of religion and choice but throws their arms up over abortion, gay rights, or *gasp* a black president.

Another Liberal that does not like Conservativism yet wants to tell Republicans how to vote for a candidate.

You can vote for whoever you want, you just won't win. If losing lets you sleep at night, keep doing what you are doing.

Conservatives can continue to tell us we are wrong, but we are just trying to help.

If you put a moderate candidate like Christie on the ticket, you may sway an independent voter like me (and 50% of the country) to vote republican. If you put a tea party nutjob like Ted Cruz on the ticket, expect Hilary to walk away with over 400 electoral votes.

Its not going to matter who I vote for because the next winner of the Presidential election will be another big time socialist like Obama.

It is funny that you consider Obama a socialist, given his track record. Obama would make socialists cry.

I'm glad you concede defeat. Most conservatives think going hyper conservative will cause a landslide victory in their favor, LOL.

McCain ran at a time when it did not matter who the Republican Candidate was...they would loose.

Romney had the same issue as well.

I strongly encourage the Republicans to do just that. Then the choice will be clearer for Democrats, moderates and independents.

I would love to see Ted Cruz be the Republican candidate.

    Really and seriously.

Chris Christie and maybe Jeb Bush could be a real challenge to beat.

Ted Cruz and Hilary takes home 400 votes easily. Biggest win the history of the Democratic party.

No, because Bush was that bad.

Romney was just an uber-wealthy mogul that no one trusted.

What does a man with a net worth of over $220 million want with the White House? The military.

He reminded us a little too much of Dick Cheney the way he lit up about foreign policy.

Romney was a good looking and articulate MODERATE Republican candidate. He ran against the most socialist candidate since FDR. Obama was presiding over a terrible economy, in real terms a double digit unemployment economy that was and is stagnant. I think this tells me something new and sinister is at play with the state of the USA, that Obama won reelection. The tide has turned and the nature of the US population has changed. People by majority voted for the central government socialization of the USA and that is what they got in Obama. In three years what will the economy look like? Its going to look much like it does now, stagnant. What will the official numbers look like about unemployment and such? I am sure slightly rosier than now. They will continue to ignore the millions of people that drop out of looking for a job. The media will talk about how things are slightly better even when they are not. Poor people and lower middle class people will be somewhat happy with the subsidizes healthcare. For them the pricetag will be acceptable. They will make up half of the people and those that have it crappier will not be happy about it. The result will be another socialist Liberal Democrat President.

It'll probably be like it was last time; flavor of the month. There'll probably be at least a dozen who'll throw their hats into the ring. Way too early to tell what the candidates running will look like. Could be a surprise thrown in for good measure.

Moderates and independents vote left or right just as much as registered members. Turn out is what matters. Good candidates turn out voters.

I would go for Christie though. Anyone willing to fight the teachers union. A well trained and educated society doesn't need a dependency state.
