    In which case are you arguing that these children shouldn't be born in the absence of "the ideal"?

    The definition isn't changing, that's your canard from your ideological perspective. I am married, my gay friends are married. We are all married.

    Also many couples use the contract for tax reasons; the only differentiation being their gender. Marriage also brings responsibilities which those tax breaks can be used to fund.

    Well, like I said, if you'd rather those kids weren't born that's your choice.

    I think males possibly would be but then children aren't a requirement of the marriage contract.

    Well you're the one focusing on children, I'm focusing on the contract.

    More like you are focusing upon the sex, while he focuses upon the children. Children benefit from stable homes. Im not so sure that stable homes do anything for sex.
