What should be done about "bad guys" that shelter among civilians?

    Especially recently in the current Middle Eastern crisis we see examples of the bad guys using civilians as human shields and what have you.

    What should the "good guys"do about it?

    Arm the civilians.

    (...preferably before the terrorists try to use them as shields)

    The “good guys” should never have gone down the anti-Palestinian, pro-Zionist path in the first place. But now that we are where we are, the only solution I can see is to divide the area into two states, treat Palestinians and Jews equally, arm the Palestinian state to be an equal power to Israel so that Israel won’t attack them, and the UN or other international org. needs to control the Temple Mount to provide fair and managed access to Muslims, Jews, and Christians. Hamas would become a powerless entity.

    But American Zionists in Congress would never allow it to be supported by us.

    ....good guys...bad guys....well....the world is grey so there's really only just people living and dying as usual.....what they've always done....and will continue to do....and those that like killing will continue kill and make ever more absurd reasons to continue killing....why....because they enjoy killing.

    There are no "good guys"

    By whoever is fighting them.

    As long as they're allowed to use noncombatants as human shields, they will use noncombatants as human shields.

    It will only stop when the good guys stop letting them get away with it.

    Who are the good guys?
    Who are the bad guys?

    The answer lies in one's viewpoint.
    It takes 2 at a minimum, to have a conflict. Each side always believes they are in the right.
    How about violence is never the answer?

    I'm going to run their asses off...lol.

    Since I live in a country where I have the right arm myself, I have that option. Hell, I have the option to stop them from setting up in my house, to begin with.

    Citizens of countries where their right to keep an bear arms has been denied them might start rethinking the wisdom of that.

    Are you really unaware that Israel has been a cooperating participant in a "two-state solution" for DECADES?

    And what always happens after agreements are made? The factual history is easy to trace....

    Probably the very best of the attempts, "the Camp David Accords" was hosted by President Jimmy Carter in 1978, with Menachem Begin of Israel, and Anwar Sadat of Egypt, as participants. By 1982, everything that was worked toward by all three had largely failed after radical Muslims in Egypt assassinated Anwar Sadat in 1981. In 1971, ten years earlier, Palestinians who had been given a home in Jordan by its King Hussein staged large scale insurrections there and almost overthrew him! How can anyone even hope to deal with people like that...? :confusion:

    Well if you listen to some of the posters around here, what should be done apparently is to do whatever you need to to convince yourself the good guys aren’t very good and the bad guys aren’t that bad and since all civilians are harmless angels who only want peace and tranquility then if the bad guys who aren’t that bad hide behind them then there’s nothing we should do about it except inwardly reflect upon our misdeeds and think about ways we can make them see we are good people too.

    I'm not a coward. I'll protect my family with my life. Anyone who wouldn't is a piece of ****.

    But, we live in an armed society. Terrorists aren't going to roam the countryside doing as they please. That's the whole point.

    Or perhaps…..if those Germans hadn’t meekly acquiesced to those manipulating them there wouldn’t have been a conflict to begin with….but this is about now and the Middle East….and a different set of manipulators. Same reasons though.
