no doubt that's because you consider yourself saved. I used to know someone who was horrible to almost everyone she came into contact with, but to her two friends (she was lucky to have two, given her nature) she was delightful. evidently they were incapable of taking a short walk in the shoes of those she brought misery to, or just chose not to think about it.

why? it's a clinical term to describe the belief that something which isn't real, is real. it applies as much to religious ideation as it does to the mentally ill and their giant spiders.

According to most of christianity, one needs to be christian to enter eternal bliss. About 1/3 of the world is christian.
Now you may have your own version and differing beliefs.

It amazes me that people accept that God declared all newborns with sinful behavior but never question why we had to be born that way in the first place. If God wanted perfect, sinless people, he would have created them in the first place.
