Yes! Instead of the imminent attack, they protested in favor of a two state solution. And they were right! It would have saved tens of thousands of lives, if those protests had been successful. Students are educated people. We should pay attention to them.

1. In Israel there are election every at least 4 years and the major coalition party can change. Labor and Kadima parties accepted 2 state solution and offered more than 90% of conquered territories for peace. In Gaza there are no free election. Hamas was elected in 2006 and from then it is the absolute ruler of Gaza.
2. Israel was attacked by Hamas, Hamas committed genocide, murdering, raping and kidnapping, including women, old people (some over 70 years old) and children (including 9 month infant).
3. Still, I hear a lot of talks about genocide committed by Israel, but I don't hear about genocide committed by Hamas. It looks that for some murdering Jewish men, women and children is not considered genocide, because it depends on context.

 

I have said a hundred times that Israel is the adult in the room. That is the reason why we fund them, and not Hamas. So we must demand that they behave like adults.
