I was talking to a few people today and most of them admitted they don't enjoy their fields of work. I'm one of those people. I'm happy I get paid what I do but it's not what I want to do forever. So what would be your dream job? Your #1, top of the chart job. I would love to exploit the new legal markets of cannabis by land racing. Land Racing: Finding rare land race strains of Cannabis. Example: Swazi-Gold, Black Congo, or Durban Poison. You harvest the seeds, then you have the option of breeding (Sensi Seeds), or marketing the natural seeds (Seeds of Africa) Breeders and average joes alike purchase large quantities of seeds every year from The UK, Holland, etc. and the breeders pay big money for new exotic strains that only they can get. I would just love to travel, meet new people, and find flower seeds that are worth a lot of money. Just think about all of the cultures you could learn about in a first person pov instead of relying on second hand knowledge. So, what's your dream job?
I saw an article about one guy that was making a living shooping celebrity nude fakes, so I'm looking into that.
There's a show on Travel Channel called "Booze Traveler". I think that takes the cake. Get to go to random places all over the world and sample their booze and crack jokes on TV. I'll take that.
Oh, yeh. Adam Richman and Jeremy Wade. One travels the US looking for trencherman challenges (Man Vs Food) and Jeremy searches the world for the most challenging fish. ("River Monsters") Though I have seen them earn their money. Adam eating a dozen wings soaked in what amounts to Pepper Spray and Jeremy "noodling" catfish in Carolina But I still know people who save their money and vacation days to do what these guys do for a living. I see these as Documentaries, not reality tv, but is that Potatoe, Potahto?
Test driver, and i am not picky. Of course Lamborghini, Porsche and Corvette are on top of my list. Other than that, I am fine with where I am.
Protestant ethics of work suggests that when you enjoy your work ... that's no more a work, that's a hobby. A job means also sacrifice, abnegation, spirit of service ... if you like it ... that's not a job. As manager I don't see why I should pay a worker if he/she likes the job [if it's so amusing he/she could work for free, just to have fun!].
That's a hard one to answer. I guess my dream job would be fixing up houses and selling or renting them out.
I hope you have better skills than most of them seem to do. As for my dream job, it would be something like sitting in a fire tower or a lighthouse completely by myself with nooooooobody around for months on end. I am very anti-social this year and it is getting worse. I despise interacting with people in person because it is always drama of some sort or the other.
I have always dreamed of owning and operating a bikini waxing salon at Zuma Beach in Malibu. I would cal it JaxWax.
Any job that allowed me to only go to work when I personally felt like it would be good for me lol. Some days I am content with going to work, other days I have to stop myself from throwing my alarm clock through the bedroom window. It's usually on Monday's and Friday's. Monday's because well it's Monday and Friday because they seem like they literally punish you for daring to have the next two days off and all of the stupid crap comes up on Fridays.
