US is diverse because we have long history of importing people we need, like the Nazi rocket scientists we brought in from Germany to work for NASA, who put the man on the moon. Or the ones who designed the nuclear bombs We don't only import scientists, but also athletes, musicians, fruit pickers, construction workers, IT folks from India, doctors etc Oh, and slaves from Africa. Why are people complaining now, when we have been doing it since Day-1? Its the story of the Unites States.

Why do you lump all Blacks together but separate Asians? I find that a little odd. Blacks tend to be the most diverse of any race of people. All so called Blacks aren't the same.

Sorry? Which poor, uneducated, criminals or low skilled people do we still need? If we only allowed in who we needed, we wouldn’t be having this discussion because 99.9% of people from our south wouldn’t be allowed in.

You think we need millions of illegals popping out children so they can get welfare and NOT work? And those that do work, still don’t bother learning English? Is it not amazing that someone living in this country for decades doesn’t bother learning the language? I run into older Latino folks who can’t speak a word. Either they just snuck in or they’re lazy ****s. What value is that sort of diversity? None.

If you can’t afford to fly in through customs, because you have a job lined up and are preparing to purchase property, we don’t NEED YOU. You’re just wasting resources otherwise.

 

On a side note it amuses me that Americans claim the significance of English as if they are the entitled people.
I might be mistaken but I read somewhere that there was a vote where English only narrowly beat German in becoming the national language in America, which has irony for the anti diversity people because English is probably the most ‘diverse’ actual language spoken and used anywhere.
So there you have one strong argument for diversity, English being such a flexible language it is happy to absorb words and terms from everywhere.
As for people living and working on the land claimed by the United States of America and not speaking English, so what? If those people can both live and work then a reasonable assumption is that they are successful users of language whichever one they choose.
I wonder how many Americans realise that Arabic is one of the most prevalent features of American education.

Why would you complain if someone speaks another language? I hear all kinds of languages all the time, and it doesnt bother me one bit.

 

When considering which countries colonized America, this claim does not make a lick of sense. Why would they have chosen German?
