Allow the health care industry to go out of control with such high fees that most Americans could never afford to pay. Insulate the American people from paying those outrageous fees by utilizing health insurance companies to pay the outrageous fees. Force Employers to pay for the insurance to further insulate the a large percentage of American people from understanding what's happening. All this will serve to keep escalating the fees.

Government to focus upon mandatory health care insurance for all Americans and never address the real problem of out of control outrageous health care fees.

Establish laws that would make health care for a reasonable fee either illegal or very difficult to achieve.

Finally, the American people themselves will call to government to provide more and more for them and to change America into a socialist nation.

Actually, your observations above provide evidence that the majority of voting Americans are easily manipulated by allowing themselves to be corralled into 2 major groups and only vote for candidates of those 2 groups.

Here in the Antipodes, we have no need to care.

We trade with one another, and with a vast, demanding market in China. We have no natural enemies. We live in peace and tranquility far, fortunately, from the North American continent (apologies to Canada).

We would be grateful if the US stayed out of our politics. Its imaginings of "terrorists" here and its arm-twisting of NZ governments to get law changes that work in their favour is a distraction we don't need. We don't want a free trade agreement with them that suits only their vastly-subsidised producers. We abolished business subsidies decades ago.

We just wish the US would go away.
