    There were men on both sides of the political aisle that avoided the draft. The coward Clinton comes to mind as the biggest draft-dodger of all.

    Romney also conveniently avoided the draft, but did not write derogatory things against the military as Clinton did. It's also disappointing to me that none of Romney's five sons have volunteered, and the religious thing is not an excuse.

    Many good men have not qualified to serve, and many others that didn't serve are still great citizens. I do believe the ones of us that served have a different perspective.

    I am not sure the issue is 'going to war' but instead the diverting of money for goodies and bribes from their grasping hands to the war effort that is the real issue for most.

    I wasn't thinking we were going to be attacked. I think we have less of a chance to be invaded if we bring our troops home with Paul than if we are off invading yet another 3rd world country.
