What's with all the Jew hate?

Seriously, man...it's like freakin' Nazi Germany up in here when it comes to the Jews. They get brought up just to hate on in the most odd, off-topic ways.

"Why do our Presidents suck?" "Because of the Jews!"

"Why is the economy tanking?" "Because of the JEWS!"

"Why did my shirt come out of the washer pink?" "Because of teh JEWS!"

"My daughter likes ice crea-" "BECAUSE SHE'S A J00!!!1!eleven!"

What gives? Acting like .22% of the world population somehow controls it all is as absurd as right wing Christians in America terrified that Muslims are going to kill us all just because they have a super tiny group of extremists (just like EVERY ideology).

 

I don't agree with blaming everything on Jews like the people you mention in this post. I am against Israel's crimes against humanity though.

 

Very good question and you and I are simpatico on this issue. Except that Jew haters aren't Christian in any sense of the word. Jesus was a Jew. Yes, I worship a Jew.

Moreover, and I've given this lecture often, Jew hate is far from harmless. The horrors of Nazi Germany started with such rhetoric. Jews control the banks, have all the money, call all the shots. They're all involved in a conspiracy of power, etc. And most importantly, that they're to blame for all that's going wrong. In the 1930's such rhetoric went unchecked by good people who should have stamped out this bigotry while it was in its infancy. Unrebuked it grew into a prevailing hatred that found a voice in public policy, not just Adolf Hitler, but a whole party of German Nationalists with a strong anti-Jewish bent.

Jew hate is satanic. It's a voice of pure rage against God's chosen people. It can only be stopped by good people fighting against it and upholding virtue and decency.

And I do thank you for being one of those people. This OP gives you a serious bump up in my estimation.

Oh, I agree. I have a lot of respect for Jews, Judaism, and I support Israel - but that doesn't mean you ignore them when they misbehave.

As a Jew, I can accept such criticism. Israel engages in acts quite contrary to the ideals found in the Torah and Talmud. Judaism should never suffer distortion to render a political movement, as Zionism does. Both should remain mutually exclusive of the other.

 

Be careful thinking you can gain acceptance among the haters by giving concessions. When they talk about the Jewish banking cartels, they're talking about your people. You'll never gain approval by bashing your own people so you might as well show solidarity with them. Israel's situation is emblemic of the very Jew hate we're talking about here. Surrounded by her enemies who don't recognize her right to exist, they fight a desperate battle just to keep their sovereignty. And yet they're to blame for their reaction when attacked. What pray tell do you propose they do when Hezbolah fires rockets into their territories? When suicide bombers set off explosives on city streets? When Iran, controlled by people who are committed to the eradication of Israel, want to build nukes? Try considering what Israel faces before judging them. In any event, since you'll never please the anti-semites, you might as well give them a big FU and throw your support behind the only Jewish state in the world.

 

There is not nearly as much hate against Jews as there is against "right-wing Christians." They are consistently being hated on by the atheist leftists. Thanks for that example, OP.

If only there were a nice catchy term like "anti-semite" for these anti-Christian bigots. I guess calling them bigoted atheists will do until we can come up with a better term. Of course being a proud socialist is damaging enough.

 

The concept of a Jewish state is antithetical to what is found in the Torah. The Abraham and his descendants would be promised the 'land of Israel' or Eretz Yisrael, not a state of Israel, or Medinat Yisrael. God would not grant them permission to establish a government. This is why the notion of Zionism is counterintuitive to Judaism. The ideology is outright politicization of religion, which, as an American, I find even more appalling due to the doctrine of separation of church and state.

Furthermore, I do not seek approval from haters. I seek peace for the Jewish people, and I envision doing so through peaceful means, in accordance with the commandment 'Thou shalt not kill'.

 

I don't see alot of "Jew" hate here.. sure there is some... but the great majority of what is viewed as "anti-semetic" is really "Anti-Zionist". I have nothing against individual Jewish people... I HATE Zionist terrorist Nazi wannabes.

Zionists have done an exemplary job of grabbing onto the Antisemetic guilt train in order to justify or get a pass on theft , human rights atrocities and milk the U.S like a Monsanto juiced cow.

 

The Jews are causing alot of problems with the Muslims and the Muslims have all the oil so that puts the Christians in a bind on who they want to support in getting the "Holy Land"
