I don't know if whoever reads this has ever supported PF with their dollars , , , it's a free site , open to all . anyway , I am a long time donor , I figure I partly financed this micky mouse of an up-grade with about $300 + of my cash money that I could have darn sure used on other things , , , , , , so I figure I have the right to speak my mind . I see on scattered threads & posts things like 'new donors' , prvilidges for new donors , , , well , what about the old donors ? where is our already paid for recognition on this PF ? We've already paid for it , so where is the recognition here on the new PF ? ? You fix this asap , because to say to me ,"' it's not what you did for me yesterday that counts , only what you can do for me now "' that will / is now / and prolly will see my wallet stay in my back pocket until this question is answered. In case you haven't noticed, HB, this forum is a lot different to the old forum. The features we had on the old forum are not the features we have at this forum. There will be some form of recognition for donors, eventually, but right now, there are other important things to work on, such as improving the speed of the forum, for example. Just be patient and we will see what the Admin has in store for us donors.
Mak , believe me , I have noticed a great many differences in the ' new PF ' , and quite frankly , I'd rather have the old PF back if it was just fixed ... sheeessshh , gimme a break , ya know ? It ain't like this is a new thing , is it ? and this is just not for Mak , anybody else want to contribute , I give you leave . . . PF started locking up about the first week in Nov , 2011 , last year ? Nov , Dec , Jan , Feb , March , April and now May , 6 months if my math is correct , a years worth of donations by many members of PF collected in good faith , we wanted to help make PF better , we still do , , The 'new PF' has been announced as almost done , almost here , almost ready . well , I'm almost distraught . . How many posters would have posted on this thread we're on now a year ago ? a dozen at least ... and today it's just been you and I . 2 people on an open Forum & Feedback thread discussing the seeming absense of our 'donor' status , and just you and I are discussing it. It doesn't matter at all to me that the amount I have donated be paraded in front of anyone , , in fact , the amount is secondary to the prime announcement of the Donor Bar that this poster supports PF not only with their posts , but with their dollars as well . 12 people last year , 2 people today , where'd the other 10 go ? They're not on PF any longer , are they ? I guess they don't have the patience you and I do . . .
