GoSlash / Guru / PF Mod .[IMG] I don't know what game you're trying to play here , but my response was not in any way incoherent , you just got 2 B able 2 understand plain English / HillBilly when you hear / see it , which evidently is beyond your present intellectual capacity ... [IMG]

It's a simple enough question. If you're referring to the Florida debate (and I'm assuming you are), then what about it makes you think it's a "disaster"?
/and I use the word "think" loosely...

[quitote=kk8;4523227]I would much rather be the party of

NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT UNLESS YOU EARN IT....

    THAN....

YES, YOU CAN TAKE THAT FROM SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT.
ohhh, KK8 , how delightful to C U again , and best wishes to you & yours , hope all is well , sincerely , Dan / HillBilly [IMG]

and now , I'm gonna spank you , and enjoy it ... [IMG]

    No , I've changed my mind .. ( I would enjoy it , and gratifyingly so ,, I hasten to add .. ) [IMG]

but , speaking seriously now , of important matters to us all , let me ask this? :

What will it take to bring the US manufacturing sector back to the US ? just answer that , if you would , What's it gonna take ?

I know you're a successful business lady and value your opinion .. :blowkiss:

That would likely mean that we would have to remove or greatly reduce the corporate tax. That would give them less incentive to outsource their business. But of course to counter this the government would also have to have a sound balanced budget. None of this over spending trillions we don't have.

Let me ask you that question as well. Didn't BO run on bringing back business? How's that going?
I'm not saying that the usual GOP suspects have a clue, but looking at your sig, why do you think 4 years of BO/HC will do the job? What would they do, specifically?

The present administration is the most anti-business administration in recent memory. When you tax businesses you cause them to rethink whether or not to keep their factories here or move them to a more business friendly country.

Yes, the Republican Party is the Party of No, and I for one am thankful for that. They are the Party of No forced Obamacare, the Party of No class warfare, the Party of No pandering to illegal immigrants.

I will vote for the candidate of the Party of No when I go to the polls as will a majority of Americans.

[IMG] Shangrila , we've been friends a long time now , haven't we ? I always have valued your honest posts & friendship , and I still do ...you are a rare wit on PF , always a breath of fresh air in your comments ,,, and a much needed / welcome blast of clean fresh air at times , I must say to your credit , perhaps that explains your longevity as one of the most respected and admired posters on Political Forum..... but we've agreed / disagreed , strongly , at times [IMG]

You asked me what did Obama run on ?........ Didn't BO run on bringing back business? How's that going?

[IMG] well , NO , Shang , Obama ran a campaign that promised reform to Health Care , which he has done .... as promised , now , not many people want to remember that , but at the time the election was held for POTUS , the US Economy had not collapsed at that point in time . but it was the next several weeks following that Wall Street went Elvis, ok ?

But , having said , things aren't looking good , are they ? It's going to be a long , cold Winter for a lot of folks that has lost their homes and living in tents or under a bridge in a cardboard refridgerator box ,,, or in their cars ...

and the sad thing is , it's the kids that suffer the most ... good decent folk , just like me and you ,,, that have fallen on hard times , and they'll get harder before it gets any better next Spring , 2012 ... things always pick up in the Spring....

I'm not saying that the usual GOP suspects have a clue, but looking at your sig, why do you think 4 years of BO/HC will do the job? What would they do, specifically?
People are on Obamas back because he couldn't preform an Economic miracle in 2 years ,,, WTF ? ya know ? sheeeeessshhhh ... The GOP had 24 years to fuk the country before Obama ever took office as POTUS of the United States of America in 2008 .

where , anywhere in those 20+years , has the Republican Party ever helped retain the manufacturing ability / factories / mills of their constituents that elected them to do just one thing , protect me , protect MY Family ... protect my JOB ... please ..... China didn't elect you , I did ... but that's where the Republican Party , for all it's good points , lost me many years ago , the GOP always on the side of the Rich Man ,,,and as a staunch UNION supporter ,,, I've just seen the good that a Union ,,, a good Union ,,, can do ...

and todays voters are smart , yeah , they see the news , read the paper , have the car radio on & the www ... and we all agree that times are bad and going to get worse over the Winter ,,, but you know what ? ?

    serious now , in closing answer ? ? pay attention ... :)

people are beginning to realize what President Obama has actually accomplished in his first term , he reformed Health Care in the USA ... now a lot of people are fighting mad about it , but he got 'er done... Presidents been running away from this problem for 50+ years , but Obama tackled it , whipped it ,,, rammed it through ,,, and it took an excellent Statesman to accomplish that , and people are starting to realize that ....

so , I'm thinking that if Obama had tackled the economy first , I'd be a lot happier , ya know ?

But He's Got IT NOW ... It's the Economy Stupid .... he's turning that keen intellect and statesmanship toward the USA Economy , where admitedly it sure have been to start with , I agree ...

But yes , I'll give Obama 4 more years ...

HillBilly, you NAILED reality down here!

Thanks for reminding Democrats, why they do need to VOTE for the same.

And all you Democratic folks in those states where Republicans have or are making it harder to VOTE... please get out there, get ready, inform your local party members, so that the numbers of voters will not be affected by these sinister plots the Republicans are trying to pull off.

Please stop the annoying multi-color, multi-style and mult-size text, Hillbilly. It distracts from whatever message you are attempting to convey.

Very good comments! The libs are still blaming Bush due to being the lying cowards they are. Of course, they are reflecting Obama by being like him.

There is blame to be placed on both Ds and Rs, but the Ds don't seem to want to accept ANY blame. We HAVE to replace Obama, the worst President in the last 100 years, or we can kiss our country bye!

No. Most Progressives I know, are blaming far-right Conservatism in general... and I agree with them.

You don't get it (as many pro-Conservatives do not): People aren't for OBAMA, they are FOR what his vision and agenda happen to be. They are not so "petty" as making this a personality thing; VOTERS on the "Left" (especially African Americans) are indeed issues-oriented; and a lot of Conservatives tend to overlook that fact.

I think that many Americans (especially many I know on the Left), are sick of the petty BS; this isn't some personality contest with them, it is about having a job and being able to do something for their families and themselves. That makes the agenda/platform the political target or object of interest... not so much the candidate.

I'm a staunch Progressive myself, but I don't so much dislike Romney, Cain, Perry as people... I don't want their political and economic philosophies to be aligned with such 'power' and 'influence'. I'm FOR the vision and agenda of Obama and others on the Left.

The problem isn't and hasn't been "Obama"; he was merely a catalyst, the one who essentially FLUSHED-OUT the BS that so many Americans literally despise. And it cannot be denied that a LOT of the ugliness is showing from the Right (the MOST VISIBLE corporate puppets). And Americans (working Americans especially) are sick and tired of being ripped-off... period.

What party is that?... it certainly isnt the crony corporate welfare republicans. Get a grip on reality. The rpublicans redistribute the wealth just as much as democrats do.. just in a different direction.. with just as damaging results.

Ireland has a 12% corporate tax.. they are in shambles.. you could cut the tax rate to zero and it still wouldnt bring back business to the U.S. You would just get corporate headquarters here.. like in Ireland
