Which would you perfer to have to defend your self ?

Do you have car or home insurance or health insurance.
Have you ever loved in a not so good place.

 

I am a gun owner, but if I had a thing against guns, I would make sure I have a good alarm system and a safe room where we could wait for the cops to arrive.

Guns or no guns, calling the police is always the first thing you should so, and a good alarm system will do that automatically. Also, rushing into the living room with guns blazing is also a bad idea. Best to wait in the bedrooms and shoot the intruder if they attempt to enter the bedrooms.

- Most burglaries happen during the day
- The burglars are after easy-to-sell items (not the residents) and do what they can to avoid being detected

And with with virtually no gun control laws.

Yah that is what I said. I definitely need God's help because otherwise I don't do well under pressure or stress.

 

I am very proud of our kids. They get great grades and have excellent study habits and will get into a great college, (I always tell them this is my number one ask of them because it will impact them greatly for the rest of their lives), and for the most part follow our rules and are respectful but I would be lying if I told you they have never broken any rules or gotten into trouble. As parents we have to do the best job we can and keep our fingers crossed.

 

I live in Maine as well, and I have a few guns. I don't expect I'll ever need them, because so many people here own guns that criminals don't do home invasions very often at all. I'd like to keep up that tradition, so my .45 is ready to go at a moment's notice.
