If she wasn't, she was justified in defending herself against the charging neo nazi.

I think you're conflating nationalism with supremacy. While I agree supremacists are not the most savory characters in the world, they still hold the right to rally or protest without fear of being obstructed by opposing factions. I'd say the same thing for antifa if they weren't going around destroying property and physically attacking the opposition.

As many times as I have driven through Turlock, Ca ... I did not know they had a campus of the CSU. From Turlock to Berkeley is not all that far.

Assuming she was attacking the guy on the ground and the other guy was coming to his rescue, sure. Otherwise, he charged her first. IMO, it looked like she was threatening the guy on the ground, though, at least briefly.
