Americans are known to be predominately conservative. So conservative personalities do well here. It is not a great mystery to examine.

Wrong. Would say to read thread, specifically where OP ASKED ME TO PRODUCE JUST SUCH A LIST, A QUESTION I QUOTED IN THE RESPONSIVE POST, and quoted a second time in yet another post after, but since the obvious smear intent of the OP was lost on you, perhaps reading the whole thread won't do you any good either.

That's exactly right. It is an illusion that liberals are in any way a majority. The illusion comes from the majority of the media, be it pop culture, and Hollywood that they live in while completely insulated from the real world. At the same time they insist and demand that all the mortal peasants that live average lives must do as they, the elitist libs believe we all should.

.....and then again, it could be because nobody wants to listen to liberal dribble, full of lies and other stinky (*)(*)(*)(*) who's only objective is to make love to Obama and the lib-prog hoards.

Sharpton got his job because he was black, and he secretly blackmailed MSNBC by threats. But when it came down to business, he didn't have the audience, because nobody with a brain could take him serious. Are you saying MSNBC does not have adequate distribution? Is that why Matthews and Sharpton are in the toilet?

Liberal channels are there to skip over to get to something worth listening to. Place holders as it were.

Actually, my points have changed in the last few years.

Right wing talk radio suffered a severe blow when the king of that genre came close to losing nearly 1/3 of his stations and was forced to lower his prices.

This has led to a distinct change in the way conservatives talk about people like Limbaugh.

Before, it was the usual boasting over ratings.

Now, some of you insist that we should "live and let live", while others confuse Limbaugh and the like with real news.

It's the latter that is the problem for me.

I wouldn't care about Limbaugh and his ilk, were it not for the fact that his act actually poisons the political debate.

Mindless infotainment fed to an Archie Bunker audience doesn't move the poltical discussion forward, it dumbs it down to a very low level.

You right wingers are always accusing critics of the right wing noise machine as "smearing" them.

What really bothers you is that we use facts (something right wing media feels is optional). Facts that you seldom have real responses to.

I was not aware that Al Sharpton had a radio program.

Actually, as national elections attest, Americans are predominantly close to the centre. Right wing radio entertainers attract, naturally, a rightist following, one whose ideological bias is not adequately fulfilled for them in democratic elections, and so they find their notions better expressed in the realm of entertainment media by radio personalities, some of the most successful of whom are enumerated in the initial posting.

Establishment Republicans such as Rove, McConnell and Boehner increasingly frustrating TPs in elections and in Congress is apt to upset the more radical, show business Republicans and their followers.

When Republican Senator Lindsey Graham stated the GOP's existential plight, he was addressing the elective prospects, not radio listenership, although the same demographic shift will inevitably impact that as well:

Standing outside his mansion and flailing my photoshopped poster of Rush as an African witch doctor (butt ugly, by the way) did not make the America-hating, communist, Islamist celebrity slut come out of hiding and produce a credible birth certificate.

Apparently, show business does not require such credentials.

So, I'll just be reasonable and accept that.

Besides, since I recognize the verdict of the 60 million+ Americans that twice elected the President, to be fair and consistent, I need to acknowledge that, for the 13 million who tune in to hear him talk, he is their favourite, unimpeachable, radio entertainer.

    Different strokes ...

You are repeating the same exact thing over and over. I politely asked for fresh talking points. Over 90% of your posts are the predictable anti Rush, anti talk radio, anti Fox news... In that order.

Switch it up a bit at least, that's not too much to ask for is it??

Ironic from someone who often claims fact-laden criticism of the left as a "hit job." Thread speaks for itself as an obvious smear attempt built on straw. You don't like that? Tough. As far as facts from your side? In this thread? WHERE? <Snort>

    - - - Updated - - -

Unglued, unhinged, as expected. This thread fools no one reasonable on this forum.

He can't respond with anything other then the above mentioned talking points.

He is drawn to threads that have anything at all to do with Rush, or any talk radio, followed by Fox news like a magnet to steel.

It's gotten so predictable that I'm starting to think he has posts that are saved in a word document to copy/paste on a regular basis.

No different then the Huffing and Puffing Post employees who spam under a certain account here. Or the "raw story" employee who gives us all so many laughs on a daily basis.

    God bless them all. Lol

You get in a tizzy because I dare to discuss the uniqueness of right wing talk radio, and post its most popular acts?

Well, I can't help that, but some folks do not run away from the tenuous relationship of these entertainment venues with actual governance.

If you are too upset by such a colloquium, I suggest you abstain and find yourself a less distressing pastime.

By repeatedly whining about the topic being considered, you only become flustered.

If you wish to make a pretense to truth, support your aspersions with evidence - either threads that I have initiated, or threads in which I have copiously referenced either the entertainment personality or FoxNews (other than my linking to their articles.)

Can you provide links to any previous threads that exhibit the fixation upon Mr Limbaugh or Fox News you falsely proclaim?

If you can, please do. If you can't, I won't be at all surprised.

Why should a topic "Who are conservatives' favorite radio entertainers?" cause some folks to resort to such ad hominem fabrications?

Civil discussion, even when disagreements are aired, is the reason such forums exist - not so that you can lie about someone because you differ with them in some way you are unable to defend.

Is it really a question in doubt that the poster I mentioned is obsessed with Rush and pretends to be an expert know it all on the matter by repeating the exact same thing over and over?

Are you seriously trying to refute that? What's next, Agent doesn't post The Huffing and Puffing Post articles for a living?

Or that cpic doesn't get laughed at by 99.9% of the members here?

You may as well claim that the sun rises in the west by remotely trying to suggest otherwise regarding my assertion.

I used to like Boortz but he was thickheaded on some issues.

Ramsey is on the list because he's Christian. They need a list of those for the future pogroms.

I don't know which of those two it is, but one of them has the most annoying nasally voice for radio I have ever heard. For the longest time I thought the cohost was Louie Anderson.

What fact laden criticism of the left are you talking about.

The last time I got into a debate with you about your fact laden talking point, it turned out to be yet another lie, as I had predicted.

    - - - Updated - - -

NPR is an actual news organization. When they do political commentary, they tell you that is what they are doing.

And, they routinely feature conservatives that most people have actually heard of.

I believe there are no conservatives working for NPR.

NPR disc jockeys, entertainers or propagandist what ever you want to call them at NPR are technically left wing government employees since my hard earned money is taken from me by the federal government and redistributed to NPR.

As a regular NPR listener, I know what they do and how they do it, and yes, it's a liberal radio network.

The one with the annoying voice has a purpose, so you don't think you are listening to one person behind the mice.

I think the guy with the annoying voice is Ken Chiampou. The level headed sounding guy is John Kobylt who can't stand illegal aliens or political hacks.
