Yes, media is all about ratings. I never disputed that.

I was pointing out that many of the conservatives here don't seem to be able to distinguish between a news operation and an talk radio entertainer.

    Actually, that's not true.

Yes, I seriously doubt that you are telling the truth.

Who is the poster about whom you level the allegation, and where is your evidence?

Can you support your as-of-now unsupported ad hominem accusations or can't you?

If you can, do. If you can't logical conclusions can be drawn.

Well over 70% of Americans are Christian. Would each and every Christian automatically qualify for the list of favourite right wing radio entertainers if you gave her a microphone?

You say some crazy things sometimes, but when what you say is incomprehensible, I'm only left to shrug.

I still think right wing talk radio is a uniquely American form of entertainment that merits discussion, but it's clear that there are a few folks who become very upset by such an analysis of its place in society and its tangential relationship to actual politics.

In posting one estimation of the ten best by someone who enjoys such fare, it wasn't as if I had sacrilegiously cartooned an irreverent image of Michael Savage engaged in lewd behaviour on Breitbart's tomb, but the frenetic outrage that I've occasioned by addressing the topic is, of itself, quite revealing.

    Zealots can be hyper-sensitive.

Well yes, it is almost exclusively to the United States since -- say -- the United Kingdom, for instance, has not so subtle laws in place that would make it super easy to shut down or fine conservative hosts or their station owners/operators due to violations of 'fairness' laws; i.e. violating the precepts of Political Correctness as codified in their actual legal systems. Nice!
