Plenty of promise but just a gigantic flop. Diuretic called it early and I thought it might be something we disagree on. I couldn't see through all the bullsh!t!

If only Sir Les hadn't retired. Let's see what Barry Humphries thinks of Australian politics on Q&A. One of it's funniest episodes

The best bit is when he says our Politics is funny and sad. He then hilariously describes how funny we are. Then when asked about what is the sad part he replies. That they are running the country.

Turnbull is doing the opposite of a "Rudd", he's very much about the "team decisions" and not sticking his neck out. Can't really blame him after what's happened to leaders in the last 10 years on both sides.

Listened to him tonight Ziggy regarding US election. There is nothing natural about him. He sounds so stilted. He basically sounds like a man who lacks confidence. Howard despite his flaws was fluid and casual, which came across as genuine. To be a successful leader you must be a good communicator is my thought!

Boy oh boy,
what have we done to deserve a guy like him?
This ongoing trend to the extreme right gives me the (*)(*)(*)(*)s, Putin, Erdogan, Abbott and so on.
There will come a day when democracy and high education standards are a faint memory....
Cheers

There is one simple little trend! Whenever the right loses ground they start lying and fabricating and being as negative as is possible!

Working class white men just wouldn't be able to stand for a woman being their leader as well, that's not the natural order in the Christian world!

Reminds me of an old joke. An Englishman was at a travel agent booking a ticket back home, he found he was two shillings short. He walked out onto the street and stopped an Aussie. "Good Day mate, could you spare me two shillings, I need to buy a ticket to go back to England."

The Aussie reaches into a pocket and pulls out a 10 shilling note. He hands it to the Englishman and says, "Here, keep it and take 4 of your mates with you"

Don't get your do-gooder panties wet. :roflol:

The days of people being told what they can say and what they can do are ending - its a glorious time.
