Irrelevant. There are 258M adults in the USA, 85M owner-occupied residences. You do the math.
No, it was a massive increase in the subsidy to landowners. Because of its assessment moratorium, it has been far more advantageous to very long-term landowners -- i.e., corporations -- than to human homeowners. Corporations -- and it's mostly corporations -- that still own the CA land they owned in 1978 when Prop 13 passed now enjoy the lowest effective property tax rate in the USA. That was Prop 13's intended goal. All the BS about seniors being taxed out of their homes was just a smokescreen. It never actually happened.
Perfectly understandable. Just as plantation owners in the antebellum South were not prepared to unilaterally disarm by paying wages to free workers instead of owning slaves. They just didn't know enough economics to understand why owning the land was way better than owning slaves.

Sure. They know adoptive parents find it easier to pass for bio parents.

But my opinion, unlike yours, is factually correct.

Opinions aren't facts. They are just opinions.

No, that's false, like claims that the Theory of Evolution is "just a theory." If it is my opinion that vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavor, and your opinion that chocolate is, my opinion is just objectively correct, and yours is objectively incorrect. I have identified the facts of objective physical reality that prove my opinions are in fact correct, and you have not even attempted to refute them, merely called them opinions.

That Darwin's writings are a theory is an opinion not shared by everyone. You and I accept it as settled science while others do not. Those that do not simply don't have a scientifically valid alternative. What flavor of ice cream is most popular could be a fact. But I'll bet there are regional differences and you wouldn't get the same answer regardless of facts. Those who prefer vanilla would vote for it while those who prefer chocolate would vote for that. Only a poll of ice cream makers would get to the actual fact.

In politics there are always two truths whether you think so or not. It isn't about facts. It is about the analysis of facts. Those analyses are opinion. Take any subject or issue and you will find two truths every time in politics. It isn't the facts. It is how people react to them. Opinions aren't facts. They are just opinions.

Here is an example. Biden was elected president. We know that because he is in office. But some think he lost the election. The reality is that we really don't know because it hasn't been investigated. Most likely he won the election. Am I 100% convinced of that. No, I don't know. I do know that there were a lot of bad policies created by the states that worked against election security. So the fact is that Biden was elected president but the opposite OPINION is quite valid. It isn't about facts in politics. It is about the analysis of facts.

I didn't refute anything because I lost track of the issue. I don't think we were debating facts. I think we were debating opinions. But I don't care enough to study it. So I accept your comment and you have my apology if I am mistaken.
