You say that like it's a bad thing. Granted, I'm not at all down with the religious right, and their efforts to control the sexual behaviors of consenting adult humans, but aside from that, we get:

    1. Lower taxes
    2. Less spending, and smaller government
    3. Less government interference in our lives.
    4. A true understanding that we are a nation of free people.
    5. Actual protection of our borders.
    6. Less spending for able bodied and minded people who CAN take care of themselves but are too lazy to actually do so.
    7. Maybe, hopefully one day, some variant of Social Security where you have actual ownership of your account, so if you die at 64.9 your kids get to inherit its value.
    8. Law enforcement that, I don't know, enforces laws?
    9. A strong, virtually undefeatable military.
    10. Believing in interpreting the Constitution as written, as well as limiting our government to that which is Constitutionally authorized.
I don't see the problem with any of the above, and I don't understand how anyone, other than those who desire to suck at the government teat (which I'll concede is a lot of people) even can.

It's my experience with this forum that much of the "jokes" coming from the left is stuff they actually believe. It blows your mind when you really think about it, but.. it is what it is.

The older I get, the less I fear death... especially when thinking about living in a country where an abject idiot like AOC is president....

Like I said “turnabout is fair play”

Five years later and I am STILL hearing how the right supports Trump because he “Owns the libs” which HAS to be the worlds worst reason for electing anyone to any office anywhere

Trump was far from being MY favorite president, but, compared to either Hillary or the half-witted moron we're stuck with now for three more long, miserable years, Trump was about 65% -- 70% "OK".

When or if Democrats ever (EVER) find a presidential candidate 1/10th as good as JOHN F. KENNEDY, then I'll be interested... but not until then....

I don't think whoever wins is well known to the public yet. It will likely be somebody none of us now think of.

I'm not sure, but I will be happy if the president after the next is elected and not chosen through the the thunderdome.

I hope the donks run Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib. But they won't. I see a Pocahantas campaign. And don't ever count out Mdme. Cankles Clinton.

The reps will probably run Deathsantis. He might have a shot.

Nope. Somebody tried to slam me and used that he has a "smoking hot wife" like that was of any value to our country. We need less of her ilk (and his for that matter).

I am really trying to understand their point of view but I honestly did NOT realize that so many people defend dysfunction. Also, he's not a strong leader. He's just loud and quite paranoid. I mean, how do they rationalize him walking out a Summit or disrespecting the Queen and Pope? I'm not a fan of either but there is decency in respecting other leaders around the world. He even planned the Capitol riot on Pelosi (why are they screaming about Biden not being in charge) and our own former President capitulated to an alcoholic ice cream freak.

The donks should run the one who married its brother.

You mean as in terrifying you? Or that it was shoddy? The movie is supposed to make fun of 50s style sci-fi tropes.

    Yep! Morrison is a conservative

Now have you finished attempting to troll or have you got some actual facts you want to bring to the table?

I'll tell you this, I don't want Trump as my President and that is a fact. If he gets in there again, The democracy will be forever lost and that's all there is to it. He says he'll pardon the January 6 attackers that raided the Capital and would that make things right? Think about it!

I don't know which one you think I think is the best one of those two. I'm not a fan of either but an unpolished speaker old man beats out a narcissistic psychopathic ready to bring the country to his knees in the longest temper tantrum known to man every time.

Who do you choose if you could vote here (but, if you choose Biden, it means you're part of the underground widespread election fraud and somehow your ballot made it from Aussie through the slowed operating procedures thanks to DeJoy trying to suppress non "R" voters and nobody caught on so they could test it for Joey dna. ;-)

I love the movie, the effects have such a terrifying quality about them, in a good way. Scary as all hell.

Yeah, absolutely. I have the feeling Invaders from Mars (1953) was where they got the bulb head idea. It gave me the same creep factor I had when I first saw that movie, but the comedy is great!

I've never seen so many all star cast members killed off in the first 5 minutes of a movie.

He's brave, loyal to a fault, always means well, and, in the end, good wins over evil. What's not to like?
