I think for the GOP DeSantis with Nikki Haley as VP, they have youth, they're reasonably moderate and tick many boxes. For the DNC I think Newsom with RFK Jr, they would be able to unite both wings of the party

For me, Republicans, almost anyone other than Trump and DeSantis. Haley would do nicely as would Scott or Hutchinson. For the Democrats, again almost anyone other than Biden or Harris. For the Democrats I’d like Beshear, Ky, Laura Kelly, Ks, or Tammy Duckworth Il. I would support any of those three as I would support Haley, Scott or Hutchinson.

Any of those four I don’t want, Trump, DeSantis, Biden, Harris, I’d be voting against any of them. If it’s a rematch of Biden vs. Trump, I’ll be voting third party against both. The same with DeSantis and Harris.

May I ask what alternate universe you live in if you think DeSantis is "reasonably moderate"?

Depends on who is dreaming. Fact is, Trump is way ahead and Biden is way ahead. Apparently those two are the dream candidates.

That wasn't the question though. The OP stated that Desantis was a moderate and so was Newsome. You responded that Desantis was not a moderate and I was asking you if you thought Newsome was a moderate, since you didn't question the OP on that.

Haley, yes, but not DeSaster. Haley can find a batter VP. Manchin is the only Dems I can think of, and he could even run with GOP VP.

    For the GOP?
Haley as the Presidential Candidate/DeSantis as VP.
    For the Dems?
Totally LMAO at a Whackjob Conspiracy Monger like RFK Jr. as VP.
    Dream ticket would be:
Michelle Obama as Presidential Candidate/Newsom as VP.

The RNC/DNC dream candidate is anyone but Trump.

The RNC/DNC dream voter is YOU.

Anyone but Trump could beat Biden, he's the only candidate who could lose to him

    Being British I doubt that.

recently retired Ohio Senator rob Portman. He's moderate on social issues-his son Will is out of the closet. He's an expert on economic policy, works well across the aisle. he's smart-Dartmouth undergraduate, Michigan Law School. Solid on gun rights, the military and pro business.

Well for my part Haley is the best candidate in either party.

But what matters to me is that for once we can vote FOR a candidate rather than AGAINST a candidate.

You have it all wrong. Trump is actually the only candidate who can WIN against him. You must not be aware of how large the "MAGA-only" vote share is.

My message is applicable to any "Western" government. The British government system loves voters like you. So does the Canadian government. So does the Australian government.

I'd disagree, MAGA voted for Trump last time and he didn't get in, it's a question of winning over the floating voters rather than hardcore. The Commonwealth system is pretty much the same for Brits/Canucks/Kiwis/Aussies.

Jamie Diamond of JP Morgan. If we can fix our economy and get a strong leader the world can settle down and stop devolving into dictators vs everyone else.
My problem with Haley is she knows little about economics. If we fix our economy, we will be in a better position to have a positive effect on world events. She talks the talk but I don't see her pushing back against the swamp.

I think I would flip the GOP side to Haley - DeSantis. DeSantis has been a disappointment as a debater, and his abortion and other stands in Florida have gone too far to right to attract a national audience. He would represent the ring wing of the party.

I agree with you about Newsom, although I detest the man. So far as JFK, Jr. goes the Democrats would never accept him because he was the first to oppose their sitting president. The Democrats would also feel that they are duty bound to pick a Black female for VP. They will never accept have two White guys to head their ticket.

What makes you think that Jamie Diamond, who has taken many far left positions, would be anything but another swamp creature? As Haley and economics, that’s where you aids and advisors come in. Her instincts are to support the capitalist system.

Trump knew where the strength of America was: in the American workforce and Americas natural resources. Not much else matters.
These top money men know how things work. Their idea of "left" does not Include killing the golden goose. Seriously who in the financial sector would, with their eyes wide open, gut our domestic oil market without doing their due diligence on replacement energy in the many forms and locations we use it?

Right, because what was supposed to be the 2020 election faulted due to election fraud. The will of We The People was thwarted by our corrupt abusive government.

You really don't realize just how many people who once voted for Obama are now voting for Trump, do you? You really don't realize how many people who once held their nose for Romney are now voting for Trump-only and are now no longer holding their noses for the "professionally Republican", do you?

People are waking up to the corruption of "BOTH" parties (the Uniparty) now.

Right, and those governments aren't any less "Uniparty" corrupt than the USA's is...

It's almost as if the current admin doesn't WANT to legitimately replace the energy that they are taking away.... hmmmmm... wonder why that is......
