OK so you are saying that we don't actually have a defense treaty with Russia, but we do with Venezuela? What I said about the Rio Treaty is that Venezuelan Supreme Court rejected the vote to re-instate the membership. I know the OAS doesn't seem to refer to that, but that does create legal ambiguity, and if you think if Colombia attacks Venezuela, that we are going to militarily defend Venezuela, I would highly doubt it.
