Why delete an entire thread because one poster breaks the rules

    Why was Frodly's thread about the state of the forum deleted? This is exactly why the complaints keep coming. DEAL WITH THE RULE BREAKERS instead of simply deleting entire threads.

    I'll bet it wasn't deleted. I wrote a thread a short time ago asking a question about the moderation on this forum, and it got moved to the Suggestion Box. I could access it, along with any of the mods, but for the rest of those who made comments, it must have appeared to have been deleted.

    Apparently, it's not a violation to question or criticize mods, as long as it is done in a private thread between the creator and mods only.

    Because it violated the rules. That is why any thread is deleted.

    Is that what happened to the thread on circucision? I cam back to check it and it is completely gone? I thought it was a good topic. Whats the deal?

    I haven't checked, but it was likely deleted for various violations.

    That is sad to delete good posts because of bad posts.

    Sometimes they just want to get the modding done fast, so they can get back to posting messages. I've been there before.

    What happened to 101 year old lady evicted from her home threads? Can't find them with a search, and my post in one of them is gone from my list.
