Why do liberals want to punish hard work and success?

Why do liberals want to punish people for working hard? Taxing the successful is pointless. They never even use government services! On the other hand, the lazy people who refuse to work hard are let off the hook! Shouldn't we be raising their tax instead, because they are the ones using government services.

Liberals appear to have no original ideas of their own.(*) All they can do is obstruct and oppose conservatives, when conservatives make proposals.(*) Typically, when a liberal realizes he's losing a debate, he will start shouting down his opponents.

When leftist Democrats realize they are outvoted, one of their favorite tactics is to flee the state in order to bring their state's government to a halt, rather than face defeat.

 

Your answer demonstrates that you believe that Conservatives are the ones who are the target of such a system of taxation.

Taxing people who earn is the only way for the state to keep afloat. The money they create goes to foreign central banks, and the money thy borrow goes to paying the interest on the money they've borrowed previously.

Screw the services, they suck.

 

Poor conservatives (bless their dopey souls) receive the munificence of the state no less than poor liberals.

The only difference is that poor conservatives rabbit on about big government.

Thus having pie and also eating it.

 

But why tax them at such a steeper rate??? Flat tax generates more income because the wealthy will no longer store their wealth in tax havens

 

Because the are more lazy people who are unsuccessful than hardworking successful people and the democrats win elections by pitting the two against eachother.

It is part of that social justice bullcrap that you take from the haves to give to the have nots because it is socially justified to systematically steal from others to make everyone equal. In the eyes of a progressive that is.

We might just as well ask the question: "Why are all Conservatives pederasts?" or "Why are all Presidential candidates wife beaters?".

By the way, there is no evidence linking Liberals to a dislike of hard work or success.

There is even less evidence linking hard work to success in America since the linkage between inherited or familial wealth and success is stronger than anywhere else in the developed world.
