Why do Michael Savage and Mark Levin hate each other?

Are you going to offer any real discussion, or do you just want to bleed all over my thread?

 

I gave my theory. They are jealous and petty (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s. You just did not like me approaching the truth.

 

I was waiting for you to flesh that out, but apparently you can't. That's an assessment that can be made gleaning only from the OP and knowing absolutely nothing about Levin or Savage. I'm guessing you've never even heard of these two radio hosts (and best selling authors) before today.

What?! Are you serious? Bill O'Reilly is no where near as big a blowhard as Mark Levin.

Mark Levin always suppresses debate. He even has a separate phone number just for the "drones" to call in.

You have to be extremely partisan to listen to his show.

 

Well in that respect, Levin and Savage have something else in common, neither suffer fools gladly. O'Reilly doesn't take calls on his Foxnews TV news slot. O'Reilly is a self preening bafoon who thinks the middle of the road is always the best way and he wags his finger at liberals and conservatives alike thinking that his grandfather demeanor is a substitute for real world experience and intelligence. It isn't.

And I love how Rush Limbaugh has picked up on this and lampoons O'Reilly on a regular basis.

And both Savage and Levin have the right to control the amount of time that idiots take up on their show and to keep them from taking the show over. I can't begrudge them that.

So what if O'Reilly thinks middle of the road is best. Nothing wrong with that. It's only a problem if someone is not hones't about their own political alignment. And so what if he criticizes people on both sides. Sometimes that's better than acting as if our side does no wrong and the other side always does stuff wrong.

I really don't care about how much time he gives anyone. I'm merely talking about suppressing debate. Sometimes they both sound so intolerant of other viewpoints that it just sounds like they are afraid debate. I find that annoying.

I don't listen or watch political shows much, but I'd rather watch Bill O'Reilly than Mark Levin.

 

Believe me I know how you feel but I like open debate. Even if the debate is one-side (which most debates are) it should be encouraged more.

 

Hey, I just gave a reasonably accurate (albeit overly charitable) characterization of what you said; so if you're insulted, you might as well blame the mirror.

 

You can't debate a moron for any length of time without becoming one. They know this instinctively, which is why they always call for civility in hopes of getting their targets angry so they can't think straight.

Levin is a blowhard, and Savage has...called for genocidal campaigns toward muslims and hispanics, referred to a gay caller as a 'sodomite who should get AIDS and die', mocked people with Autism/Asperger's (I have the latter myself so his remarks particularly hurt me), how much more can I list, etc.

I think maybe Levin hates Savage because he wishes he could be as incendiary and willing to say anything for a buck as him but he has too much of a conscience...

I'll tell my buddy Rush that despite our efforts to drill common sense into the dying lib/socialist faction, that we still have our daily work cut out for us in reaching that all-American CONSERVATIVE nation goal.

 

I wish Rush were my buddy too...I'd have an easier time getting on the air with him.

 

Mark Levin tows the party line, Savage dislikes the GOP, and sees the party for what it really is. So even though both may claim to be conservatives, there's still is a source of disagreement among them.

 

Nothing insurmountable though. I think they would be great friends if they gave friendship a chance.
