I believe both of these points are correct. As to the latter, I never used to see a doctor or a dentist regularly; it was only after something went wrong that I would seek their assistance. When I got married, in 1986, my wife saw to it that I began having an annual physical (it is now called a "wellness exam"), and that I began having a semi-annual teeth cleaning.
I think this is a late 19th century to current fact. Prior to that female life expectation was probably shorter because of high mortality in child birth. There are probably both cultural and genetic reasons. The most likely genetic reason is that two X chromosomes are less likely to express a genetic defect than an X & Y. I'm also sure that on average men take more risks that might get them killed than women.
Womens health has long been a political issue. Even today people are far more concerned with women health issues. While men have to fend for themselves. Men also have far more dangerous jobs. Working around numerous hazards. Also differences in hormones that allow a women to withstand the stresses of childbirth. Possible make them more resistant to stress induced heartfailure.
Women live longer because most women tend to eat healthier. A low fat, vegetable based diet, without too much animal proteins and fat.
I say it is mostly attributed to on average me lead a lifestyle harder on their body. Vigorous sports and work that most women tend to avoid.
It doesn't matter. All that matters is the inequity of results. Why isn't an issue. According to the liberals, since men are obviously being discriminated against we should discontinue health care services to women until this inequity is resolved.
Women will not continue to outlive men at the rate that I'm seeing. After several generations of liberal feminism they are now creating a society where all the stresses of life are upon them now. Feminism taught women that they were superior almost God-like beings who could single handedly: A)Hold down a stressful career. B)Have a high, materialistic quality of life C)Raise a family All singlehandedly. I laugh at em and say "Good luck!" While I, like the male lions of old, get to sit around and yawn and scratch my ass watching women kill themselves over some falsely perceived feminine pride while the women go do the hunting and bring back an occasional scrap of meat for me to chew on between mating sessions.
Essentially, because males are pretty marginal in evolutionary terms: once they've fathered children they only help when decently brought up, so they might as well die. It's amazing we last as long as we do.

There are several reasons different from each other , for example women take care of their health more than men . Also women looks more skinny and weak than men but the truth is women body is more resistant than men .
