Why hasn't the left gone all frothing mad about the School Shooting in Perry Iowa?

my attitude to women's rights is precisely the same as my attitude to men's right. There are not women's rights or men's rights there are just rights and we all have the same rights and of these foremost is the right to life.

From attempts to kill it against the woman's will.

Okay. You also have a right to get an abortion if you get pregnant. :)

Except there's a distinct biological difference due to the fact that women can get pregnant and men can't.

OK that makes sense-at what point does the state have a valid interest in trying to prevent the woman from killing the fetus?

I'm not sure, it would be on a case by case basis.

Why are you so wiling to go off topic here? How about we get back to the conversation about folks on the left ignoring this particular shooter.

"I simply pointed out as the OP explains that somehow, for this young white male shooter, the left doesn't seem at all interested in dealing with it"

Deal with it how? By futilely pointing out the need to do something about gun violence for a few days and then go back to being resigned about nothing happening because of Repub indifference?

"And from my perspective, folks shoot up schools because they know that no one will shoot back at them during their assault."

Explain that one to me seeing as the shooter shot himself after the incident.

You deliberately miss the point? You MAGA folks constantly play "whataboutism" by deflecting attention from your inaction on important matters.
How about you not blaming "the left" (Democrat? Liberals? Communists? Antifa? BLM? ???) for school shooters.

What on earth is more personal than decisions around bearing children? Women have taken control over these matters and don't seem inclined to let government make such an important decision for them.

So, you admit to going off topic, and your justification is MAGA bad. Laughable. I blame folks who shoot up schools. Sometimes, those folks are, for example in this thread, part of the loud and proud. In this specific case, it seems to be the reason MSM gave up on the initial coverage as the catechismic angry young white guy crumbled into angry gender dysphoric mess... And once we get to that part, I say it's entirely necessary to call out lefty media, and public denial as an issue that must be raised, and addressed. If, as we all agree that schools need to be safe places for kids to learn, we have to make sure that they actually are. Including not trying to indoctrinate these kids so they become said dysphoric messes in the first place.

But hey, I'll settle for the kind of security that liberal politicians seem to believe are necessary to protect them from the public they hate. How about that?

I'm questioning your credibility and pointing out you're deflecting from considering the basis for the phony claims associating gun control and trans.
I was "on topic"--your lack of credibility to accuse Democrats of hypocrisy.
    More distraction.

Schools are not indoctrinating students to be transexual.
    Deflect, deflect, deflect.

You started thread with an unsupported claim...

"Can anyone explain why the collective/left haven't immediately grasped onto this shooting?

Could it be that the shooter, according to their own social media, turned out to be a really conflicted/confused LGBT+ member?

I just don't understand their reluctance to try to make political hay from this particular shooting. Or does this one hit too close to home, and once it was determined that the shooter was the wrong demographic, they circled the wagons?"

... and now you're trying to avoid taking a good look at your side's motives, claims (as advanced by you) and politics.

What are my side's motives, other than to retain our constitutional freedoms while ensuring that our kids can go to school and not be shot by crazy folks or criminals who do it because no one is likely to shoot back at them?

Defend Trump and Republican policies regardless of whether or not they work.

As for schools--if you cared more, you consider how to improve them instead of paying staff so little only the richest school districts attract enough qualified instructors. How come Republican states have such lousy schools? Low pay.

    https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/teacher-pay-by-state

Florida is 47th in teacher pay and South Carolina is 43rd. GreaseBoy says his state is "Number One" and Clenched Teeth Haley said she turned her state into an "economic powerhouse." Alas, both states are education deserts. Of course, if you live in a rich community where they pay higher salaries, even in those states your school district can attract the few quality staff and you're okay. Maybe you're a step above that and you can afford a private school. Who's losing? MAGA and their kind. Lower- and lower-middle whites. Blacks and Latinos, perhaps the majority of them.

Florida has a teacher shortage. Home prices are up 50% over the past few years. Teachers live much better somewhere else.

Let me dumb it down for you. Executing murderers justice, shooting some one trying to kill you justice, killing an unborn child with a beating heart who's only real threat to you is stretch marks is murder.
