    Actually, Germany's national healthcare plan has always come from private insurance companies. This goes all the way back to Bismarck in the late 1800s.

    As far as I can tell, none of the socialist parties aligned with the Party of European Socialists (about 14 or 15) advocate for the elimination of private party and the nationalization or elimination of all corporations or private businesses.

    I guess the real question, which major socialist party (not a communist party) doesn't embrace rich industrialists? At least the ones on their side and fund them. Any major European socialist party calls for the elimination of all private business?

    Well the genocides and worker exploitation perpetrated by any socialist party (or any other type of party) would be bad. Do you actually think this thread is about genocides and worker exploitation?
