Why I suspect some liberals, if not most of them hate America

I don't think that racism is mainstream amongst conservatives, but I think a racist person is more likely to be conservative. Go to a white supremest website and ask how many of them identify as liberal.

Yes, the egalitarian mentality is mainstream amongst liberals. Most liberals I know fight for equality and fairness. You're unfairly assuming that if liberals don't donate to charity or directly to the poor, that they don't believe in equality. What many - maybe most - liberals want is for wealth to be distributed equally by the government through taxation. This is why it's not hypocritical for liberals to ask for tax increases rather than donate directly.

As I read this forum and others, I see the word "hate" tossed around quite a bit. And it's much more often employed by conservatives. Why is that? Is that an emotion that's more on the forefront of your mind?

I really have no concept of what hate feels like. Just can't conjure it up. So tell us, how does hate feel, exactly? You, apparently know since you've invoked it a couple of times.

Antisemitism and Nazism in general was a right wing phenomenon in American history. Famous industrial capitalists like Henry Ford were advocating and spreading antisemitic ideas (read The International Jew by Henry Ford). They were also openly supportive of the anti-union policies of Nazi Germany. In addition, their companies were also very important for the Nazi war effort. I have always been fascinated by the right wing distortion of history. They repeat daily that it was really leftest and socialist behind such ideas even though Hitler rounded them up even before the Jews, and there were concentration camps dedicated to killing people with those ideas.

So here we have before us again another argument of "those evil leftest" who are really trying to destroy Germany... opps.. I mean America.

And yes, Palestine does deserve a fair shake just like everyone else. Israel has been in violation of international law, and American opinion in this regard is isolated from the rest of the world.

Republicans were often accused by liberals of hating women and minorities. Liberals are the undisputed champions of tossing around the word "hate".

I have never understood why people in this country hate Israel. They are among our top allies.

But dont blame conservatives. Remember it is the southern democrats that invented the KKK that also hated jewish people. In fact liberals have a huge corner on hate, they hate anyone that doesnt agree with them and love Obama.

BTW I also suspect that liberals hate any Americans that have worked hard and got ahead. With their socialist ideas, they cant just set on their collective asses and expect the government to make them rich on welfare.

 

It's ironic, but the Democrats learned a very important lesson about Israel when the Lying African revealed his plan to force Israel back to it's 1976 borders. New York's 9th district, which was held by Democrats for 80 years, was lost to a Republican promising to defend Israel and the political scientists were in agreement that the seat was lost over that one issue. The lesson is that Jews will vote Democrat until Democrats set themselves against Israel.

 

The US right has a more or less fetishised adoration of Israel so I suppose anything less looks like hatred. It’s an odd thing to behold although given that the Knesset is a far right entity which has openly fascistic fringes perhaps the adoration is explained easily enough. Regarding hatred, though, for sure the US right absolutely hates the Palestinians.

All in all the US right is a rather unsavoury entity. Perhaps it should be designated a terrorist group and be dealt with appropriately.

Among American Jews, liberals outnumber conservatives by an overwhelming margin. Nobody "hates Jews" except for the Klan, which is not composed of Democrats. Haters are filled with hate. Those who ask "why do liberals hate Jews/hate America/hate our troops?" etc. are projecting their own mode of hate. It is sad.

The issue for American policy towards Israel has nothing to do with hatred of Jews, but it has a lot to do with Israel's treatment of the Palestinians and Likud's foot dragging on negotiations for peace motivated by the desire to grab as much lebensraum in the West Bank through illegal "settlements" as possible while the American taxpayer foots the bill. This criticism of Israel's government policy (not hatred of Jews) is voiced by just about every nation on the planet except the USA. It is also voiced by a significant and rapidly increasing number of American Jews, especially those under fifty.

You, for instance, a self-proclaimed Christian of some sort, have invoked the word "hate" a number of times on this thread alone. By the content of your posts, it appears that emotion tends to be on your mind quite a bit. And, by the same content, it also appears you are actually a pseudo-Christian, AKA CINO.

But you evaded my question. Since you seem to be an expert on hate, tell me what it feels like.

Liberals hate conservatives in America.

Many mainstream liberals hate jews today, because the Palestinian cause and the muslim cause is all the rage on the left.

The logic breaks down because leftists are even more racist than conservatives, and leftist logic is just a measure of cognitive dissonance, and not a true moral cause.

Utter and complete nonsense. Absolutes like yours automatically peg out the BS meter. But, don't despair, yours is not an unusual conservative post. The simplistic view of the world by many conservatives tend to result in absolutes. Black and white thinking. Seems to be common among conservatives.

Why do you suppose that is? Is it a brain chemistry thing? I read about the fear center of the brain being enlarged in conservatives. That explains a lot of the knee-jerk reactions I observe. Perhaps they are related.
