Why is the Democrats' bizarre IT scandal being ignored? By Kendra Arnold 6/19/18 While the focus in Washington, D.C. remains centered on the Mueller Russia probe, we cannot lose sight of another ongoing investigation on Capitol Hill. At the center of this developing scandal are the nefarious actions of a former Democratic congressional IT aide indicted last year on bank fraud charges, who at the time was being paid by a high-profile member of Congress although he was barred from the House computer systems. While the case has not received a lot of mainstream media attention, the details are sordid.. ~Snip~ Not only does the case raise serious national security and obstruction of justice concerns, it also suggests a blatant cover-up on the part of the lawmakers involved. ~Snip~ It’s interesting that members of Congress always hold businesses publicly accountable when there is a high-profile breach of customer data, but in this case they have failed to take action. To date, the Awan's have not been charged with a single crime related to illegally accessing and stealing congressional computer servers as part of a sophisticated criminal enterprise. Given what’s at stake here in terms of national security and the security of our citizens, our government must demand accountability, even in investigation-saturated and -weary Washington. It doesn't involve an AR-15, it doesn't involve Trump. But it certainly involves Hillary's buddy Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the vaunted Democrat National Committee. The nuts and bolts of this scandal is not helpful to the MSM, Democrats and their project to undo the results of the 2016 election. In the end, this type of scandal requires a bit of explaining before issuing a reaction. I don’t see anyone of prominence on the Right taking up the cudgel and willing to do that. The president cannot and should not be the only one bringing up inconvenient facts.

I've been following this story for a long time. It proves more hypocrisy and corruption of dems, corrupt bureaucrats and the lying liberal media. I have never seen such fear of losing another election, ever. They are all desperate to save their own butts. Steve
Probably for the same reason the loss of MILLIONS of emails from the Texas Bushwhackers administration, and the loss of BILLIONS of dollars flown to Iraq and LOST is also ignored.
This scandal is ignored for several reasons. The biggest reason is that all 3 branches of the federal government are corrupted, and have been for decades at least. Another reason is that the voters must be kept in the dark, like mushrooms. Same reason why the Senate report on torture was kept secret.
The Asst. US Attorney "assigned" to the Awan IT case? Steven Wasserman ... If that name has a certain ring of familiarity, it just ought to. Steven's sister Debbie became a celebrity of sorts when she resigned as DNC chair after having been exposed for rigging the DNC primary. She was also Awan's employer, and staunchly defended the Pakistani criminal and went so far as to threaten Capital police in a bid to conceal Awan's espionage. Brother Steven as prosecuting attorney, must have offered the plea deal that includes immunity from future prosecution for any additional crimes. Haven't heard a peep from DWS in months? No wonder she and Crooked Hillary are BFF's.
Conspiracy theorists always say that the way their hilariously stupid conspiracy theories always get ignored is proof of an even bigger conspiracy against them. But then, if they weren't paranoid and gullible, they wouldn't be conspiracy theorists.
