Why is USA hated?

I didn't think anyone was going to take me too seriously.The only American president I know most about is Trump. He simply scares me in with his rhetoric on North Korea.

 

Here's the deal; most people in the western world don't hate the US. We do, however, laugh at the US. The US is one big joke, jam-packed with such silly stuff that it's hard to believe for anyone living in a sensible country.

The US has elected judges. So, your judges have to run election campaigns, and have to be increasingly harsh towards people accused of crimes the closer they get to an election. It's one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard.

You've actually got privately run prisons, where every measure is taken to ensure that every convict is a return customer. In the US, rehabilitation is no priority whatsoever, and yet you can't figure out why your recidivism rates are through the roof?

Heck, over 40 million people in the US live in poverty, and over 16 million children live in food insecure households. You're all acting like it's some kind of divine right to own firearms, but it's somehow not a right to have enough food on the table every day of the month?

The US has the second biggest nuclear arsenal in the world, and the nuclear silos are not only in an extreme state of disrepair, they also run on such ancient computers that data is stored on 5,25" floppy discs. Yup, they are so incredibly modern that a Commodore 64 is something their staff would look at and go "Nah, we ain't got no money to afford them fancy computahs!".

Frankly, there are lots of people who have reason to hate the US. Most of them live in the Middle East. But in Europe, we just have every reason to laugh at what a completely and utterly silly country the US is. It pretends to be a first world country, but it isn't.
