Enough resources to make an impact on the 10's of thousands of daily transfers?
If it was important to our government, they would have already found the resources to prosecute those that lie on background check forms.
Face it, they aren't after the criminal, they're after the restriction of guns.

The GOP won't allow the Democrats to increase funding and personnel to the ATF

Three years ago Obama had dem control of both houses. Where was the effort then?
Criminals and gang members buy from each other or acquire through straw purchases anyhow. Internet stings would only be a drop in the bucket.

and they buy from gun runners who buy lots of guns each month, and that's why we need a 1 handgun per month purchase limit.

but the ATF currently has no way of knowing who the gun runners are, since NICS records are destroyed after 24 hours.

    If I'm a convicted criminal,
What do I need a gun runner for? I know people that are not convicted that will buy it for me. Now I'm set for life.
Gangs and inner city thugs trade guns amongst themselves all the time. Can't stop that.

inner city thugs get guns from gun runners.

but we haven't enabled the ATF a good way to find out who the gun runners are.

and why not? cause the NRA and their allies want poor blacks and brown people to keep killing each other at alarming rates

Explain how the NRA WANTS minorities to kill each other. How do they benefit from that?
The NRA has one mission. To fight for the rights of legal gun owners. They continually stand against unlawful gun possession by violent felons and the mentally adjudicated.
If you were the NRA, would your life be easier if gun violence stats were mostly non existent?

Gang infested areas are already infested with guns and each member only needs one.

What has democratic leadership and Lord And Savior Barry done to combat inner city violence? Nothing. They don't even bring it up.

You'll have to take that up with Jaime Foxx, and the crowd that appears to agree with him.

why do Conservatives always cherry-pick tiny soundbites that are clearly out of context?

An introduction is out of context? The cheering crowd is out of context?

How about responding to the original intent of the question, which was: why hasn't Obama done anything about inner city violence, and in fact he never talks about it?

Why do liberals always cherry pick tiny, isolated incidents incidents of violence that are clearly not part of a common trend?

It's particularly ironic that he accused me of cherry picking, and then avoids the question I asked 3 times.
