Why would anyone in Pennsylvania support Fetterman for Senate?

    Let’s start with “Oz says”.

But decriminalisation of drugs does bring up a new approach - one other countries have tried - how did they go with it?

Fetterman will get the support of many mail ballots. Count every ballot!

Independents and Republicans should never vote early. That way the other side doesn't know how many fakes they need mail in.

Good points, but so long as these aggressive leviathan states exist military alliances matter, and the Ukrainians have proved that Europeans can still fight when the fight matters to them.
Yes, the NATO countries and Taiwan should ramp up their defense budgets so long as they face existential threats from tyrannies like the RF and China under the CCP.
NAFTA was renegotiated by the Trump administration, and the tariff's imposed on China have not been removed by the Biden administration.
Globalism is a bipartisan project. Voters will have to reject both parties to put a dent in it.

    Why? Human nature.

“Russian state media has previously hosted commentators who have denied the existence of Ukrainian culture or called for the country’s total annexation by Russia.

But even in the era of Russian wartime propaganda, where it appears that anything goes, Krasovsky’s remarks have provoked a backlash.

On Monday, he was suspended from RT, and the head of Russia’s powerful investigative committee said it would review his remarks as part of a potential criminal investigation.

In the interview, which was pre-recorded, edited, and later broadcast, Krasovsky also said that he believed such children should be “shoved into their huts and burned [alive]”.

Ukraine’s foreign minister said the remarks were an incitement of genocide, calling upon foreign governments to ban RT for promoting hate speech.

“This is what you side with if you allow RT to operate in your countries,” said Dmytro Kuleba, the Ukrainian foreign minister. “Aggressive genocide incitement (we will put this person on trial for it), which has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Ban RT worldwide!”

The incident has been deeply embarrassing for RT, which has been a vocal cheerleader for the war but also distanced itself from his remarks.”
THE GUARDIAN, Russian TV presenter accused of inciting genocide in Ukraine, Anton Krasovsky, from state-funded RT channel, is suspended after calling for Ukrainian children to be drowned or burned alive, By Andrew Roth in Moscow, Mon 24 Oct 2022 10.00 EDT.

It is true that globalism is bipartisan, but that is because the leadership of both parties are controlled by globalists.

This all comes down from the banking and corporate class, which are part of the hierarchy above governments, but below the central banking class at the top.

In other words, the world is run by an unelected monied elite that operate above governments, and they are in the process of reordering the world to ensure that their rule can endure in perpetuity without challenge.

    ---------------------------------

As for "bad actors" on the world stage like Russia and China - the central banking class controls them as well. They are not autonomous actors.

To gain a full understanding of how and why this is, you have to go back decades to the origins of both of those countries and look at the financial powers behind the revolutions which overthrew the previous regimes.

For Russia you have to go back to the Bolshevik Revolution, and China you have to go back to Mao in the 30's and 40's, and how Chang Kai Shek was betrayed by the west.

At every turn, the central banking class was responsible for communism coming to life over more than half globe.

It's been a very long process, multiple generations; but, the goals never changed. The people who participated in advancing the goals of the Elites, have always been handsomely rewarded. The political class, corporate class, media and academia, etc.

Playing ball with the winning team pays. From FDR and Joseph Stalin, to Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden the game continues, and those willing to betray their own people and nation reap the benefits.

Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy have no more loyalty to America than do Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi. They are all on Team Establishment.

All the world's a stage. Putin would never have attacked Ukraine unless he was told to do so.

It is the same as with Viet Nam and Korea. To the Establishment, war is a tool. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is manipulation, misdirection, slight of hand. Same thing with terrorism - speaking of which, in conjunction with NATO, Operation Gladio. The U.S., UK, and Israel committing terrorist acts against the innocent civilian populations of Europe. They killed hundreds, probably thousands of innocent civilians in dozens of bombings that were passed off as acts of terrorism.

It's all tied together. You just have to do the research to peel back the layers of the onion.

    Really??

Prior to 2002 Germany had 2 combat deaths since WWII. In Viet Nam, France had 262 casualties, the U.S. had 36,000. Korea?? Afghanistan?? German troops were largely stationed in areas away from military action. An incident in which 62 Germans were killed caused nationwide protests in Germany - whereas the U.S. death toll was 2,700.

Monetary expenditure?? It isn't even close. Even if you go by weighted contributions as a percentage of GDP most of the EU countries don't even contribute their agreed upon amount.

Trump tried to get tough with them and make them live up to their agreed upon contributions, but all they did was flip him off and attack him like all leftists did/do.

NATO terrorist activists under Operation Gladio killed more innocent European civilians than most of the EU countries lost in military defense activities since WW II. Do a simple search on YouTube and there are documentaries on Operation Gladio. Even the BBC did a documentary on it back in the 80's.

Hell, even wikipedia some of these statistics.

Don't be lazy, look it up.

People voting and supporting Fetterman are voting party > country, period. There is no good reason to vote for him. I am not a fan of Oz but at least he is coherent and able to discuss topics at length. Fetterman loses 4-5 more brain cells and he will be the basement dummy 2.0. But that is the goal of the far left Democrats. Just get an idiot in office who does what we say and passes or fascist bills.

    This is the right answer.

He is physically unfit for office. He cannot speak much at all, let alone coherently.

Government will inevitably incubate an elite corrupt ruling political class. Hence all the checks and balances created by the US Founders to limit the power of what they knew was "at best a necessary evil". No conspiracy or even a conversation is needed for a ruling elite to evolve and operate in its own collective interest.

“They gather, all the brands, at the self-referential festivals, like the April White House Correspondents Association dinner, whose buffet of “pre-parties” and “after-parties” now number more than two dozen– because a single banquet, it is clear, cannot properly celebrate the full achievements of the People Who Run Your Country. … The insider swarm has been known by various names: “Permanent Washington”. “The Political Class”. “The Chattering Class”. “The Usual Suspects”. “The Beltway Establishment”. “The Echo Chamber”. “The Echo System”. “The Gang of 500”. “The Gang of 600”. “The Movable Mess”. “The Club”.”
THIS TOWN, Mark Leibovich, Penguin Books, 2013 p. 8.

Chiang' Kai-shek was betrayed by the West, but it is important to remember that Chiang, not Mao, was backed by Stalin and the USSR until General Marshall withdrew US support for the KMT attack on the PLA in Manchuria.

A lot of what happened in flipping China was for show, marking time until the conditions could be manipulated to their advantage.

There were still many pro-american, pro-freedom, anticommunist actors in positions of power within the United States Government and Military. MacArthur and Forrestal come to mind.

We know for a fact that the FDR and Truman administrations were teeming with communist traitors. Harry Dexter White, Harry Hopkins, Phillip Jessup, Alger Hiss, et al. I would also include General George Marshall on that list.

Anyway, all of the actions of the U.S. leading to the end of WW II were carried out for the benefit of spreading communism throughout Eastern Europe and China.

Harry Hopkins, who has been identified by many sources as a communist spy, and verified by the Venona Papers and several Soviet defectors, including KGB intelligence operative Alexander Vassiliev, whose information was culled from the KGB archives, was largely responsible for negotiating the disastrous surrender of Eastern Europe and China to communism.

Dwight D. Eisenhower played a role as well by ordering Operation Keelhaul, which led to the deaths of 2 million Eastern European freedom fighters who fought with the U S. Against the Nazis and only wanted freedom to escape the Soviet Union. Truman contributed by keeping the war in the Pacific going long enough for Stalin to redeploy his troops to ostensibly assist in defeating the Japanese, but the real reason was to link up with Mao to overthrow Chang.

It's a vast subject. Suffice it to say the same treasonous forces at work then are still operating above and within our government today.

BREAKING: PA Senate Debate an UTTER DISASTER for Fetterman.

'On Monday, John Fetterman’s campaign desperately sought to lower expectations for their candidate when he faced off against Republican nominee Dr. Mehmet Oz—even going so far as to suggest that they expected Fetterman to lose.'

    They didn't lower them enough.

'Tuesday night’s debate performance merely demonstrated just how far he has to go in his recovery. Without a doubt, Pennsylvania voters, and indeed the nation, saw firsthand that he is not capable of being a U.S. senator.'

Fetterman: “And I believe they haven’t have any businusses being being. You can’t have businesses being subsidized by not paying… individuals that just simply can’t have avave [sic] to pay their own way.”

Mod: "Why haven't you released your medical records?"
Fetterman: "My doctors believe I am ready to be served."
Mod: "Why won't you release the records?"
Fetterman: "My doctor believes I am fit to be serving and I believe that is where I am standing."

OZ: "Why haven't you apologized to that unarmed, innocent black man, who you put a shotgun to his chest?"
FETTERMAN: "I made the opportunity to defend our community as the chief law enforcement officer there."

    Tuition:
"How exactly...do you propose doing that, to make it more affordable for families?"
FETTERMAN: "I just believe. I just, making it that much. It costs too much."

'It was abundantly clear that John Fetterman’s cognitive impairment was an obstacle he couldn’t overcome. Despite the accommodations made for him, it was questionable whether he could comprehend speech, and he clearly couldn’t even speak coherently most of the time.'

Fortunately PA voters do have a solid choice. Oz is clearly capable of handling the job.

Betting markets moved hard to Oz as the debate unfolded.

Yesterday it was OZ 53 to 50
    Now it's OZ 66 - 37

Yesterday it cost $50 to buy a contract that pays $100 if Felon Friendly Fetterman wins.
Now you can by that $100 contract for just $37!

This was the most interesting thing I read in your post-- considering all the times I'd seen you make the accusation of Fetterman chasing down a black guy, and holding him at gunpoint, without ever mentioning, that he was a sheriff, at the time.

Really shows how trustworthy are your remarks-- especially your charges, against anyone.

I think one minor factor here is that Pennsylvania is leaning more towards the Democrats this election cycle because President Biden originally came from Pennsylvania, and the Biden campaign went out of its way to try to highlight Biden's roots in Pennsylvania. (Even though it is really only half justified)
Pittsburgh is a traditionally (mostly racially white, but there are plenty of blacks) blue collar union and Democrat-supporting area despite most of the rest of the eastern part of Pennsylvania being more rural conservative.

Fake news. It shows how you see what you want to see and then cast slurs based on your misread.

You have also been free to look up the facts for yourself, every time you read them.

Fetterman wasn't a sheriff at the time. You have been mislead by his comments. Maybe you can blame someone else for that too?

Actually, other way around. Pittsburgh and the surrounding area is hardcore conservative, it's the cities such as Philadelphia that are liberal leaning. Scranton for example would nominally be a toss up county but it is the county that Biden has ties to.

He said that he was the "chief law enforcement officer there." It is really a specious point you are taking, i.e., fake news, for you to claim this is fake news, if that is only because his official title was different from sheriff. Do you not understand, that the important part, is that he was a member of law enforcement? And it's bullshit for you to claim that it wasn't your own intention to leave that out, so that people would naturally get the wrong impression, because they would assume, anyone with a shred of credibility, would mention that.

So let me get this straight: you are now claiming that it is your readers' responsibility to verify every detail, of every claim, that
you make? If so, why would anyone bother to read what you say, in the first place? Logically, we should either do all the research ourselves, and only consider your opinion, if we still haven't come to our own conclusions; or, if we don't have time to fully research every topic of every thread we contribute to, we should ignore your posts in favor of those members who are more reliable, or whose posts include references (other than right wing opinion pieces), or both.

Thanks for the heads up, Zorro the Unreliable!

Why would anyone always asking essentially this same question, with the mountains that have been written about party identification, from various angles, never try to research the answer, but instead expect to get it from some random person on an internet forum?

I put your exact question into Google, and here is just one "quickie" answer that came up:

One advantage of having a two-party system is that it helps ensure that the two main parties in power have a wide platform that represents the general public. Because the two parties are so large, there is room for a wide range of political positions within each party.

    https://dk.usembassy.gov › the-dem...
The Democrats and the Republicans - USA i Skolen

One note: I did have to adjust your question to ask about the political duopoly. If you just say "duopoly," it will assume you are talking about economic duopolies, industries dominated by just two companies.
