Tax returns are so basic for a candidate to reveal. His must have something just awful on them.

This is reason not to release them. Because most people have NO CLUE how to do a tax return. Most just give H&R Block $50 to fill out the 1 page short form because it is too complicated for them and then wait for their tax refund. SO they would make stupid statements - like your's.
