Can't speak for liberals since I'm not one of them. But here are my thoughts.

One thing I find quizzical about your above points is that fully half of what you appear to care about is the "elites". It is emblematic of one of the things I hate most about political commentators like Tucker Carlson. This ridiculous, constant, and often manufactured focus on fighting some enemy. It is very easy to dissociate yourself from reason when you are no longer concerned with matters of policy but with a hostile enemy. Appeals to emotion, character assassination, anecdotal evidence, hyperbole, and playing loose with facts are what you will get.

Now I honestly haven't been able to stomach a full video of Tucker. How much of his time he actually spends on elites, and enemies, I wouldn't know. From the little I have seen, he makes assumptions without evidence, he uses hyperbole a lot, makes false equivalencies, and shows a callous disregard for truth. He pretty embodies what I would expect from a media personality that panders to his audience by feeding them a dose of belief confirmation. It's the same crap I've heard from Mark Levin, or Hannity, or Rush. It's the same reason I can't sit through an entire Rachael Maddow video. Both of them are parasites that radicalize their audiences for profit:
