Will Africa become civilised in less than 200 years?

Africa is competing with several Middle East states and Oklahoma and Kansas as the most failed territories on the planet. Some would have us believe it is because they have low IQs.

Boko Haram is having a field day amidst the interminable corruption of Nigeria. Cot cases abound - in Somalia. the Sudan, the CAR, the DRC, Libya, Egypt, and most of the rest. Even South Africa is courting disaster.

Perhaps this is the natural state of things in Africa. Perhaps it was not called the Dark Continent for nothing.

By the time they start to claw their way out of the ethnic and tribal morass that engulfs them, climate change will have killed half their populations.

Much as it did in New Orleans.

It was an intelligent OP until the final sentence, which revealed it to be just another racist post. African cultures (Sub-Saharan ones, at least) have had great difficulty adjusting to the values of the West and this has made life very difficult for them. Africa needs the equivalent of a Meiji Japan to show the way, and the mindset necessary just hasn't gelled yet (although there are hints of such in a few countries).

 

They don't all have low IQ. But if it can be shown that average IQ is lower than non-Africans, this could explain a lot.

Unlikely will Africa be that much better off in 200 years thanks to the environmental whackos that outlawed DDT that was making progress in killing off disease spreading mosquitoes that love Africa and Africans.

why not the other way around, basques and southern europeans have a high proportion of Afrikan DNA? Thats the way ialways saw itconsidering we all came from Afrika it seems more plausible that southern europeans would have been less diluted by european DNA

Apparently wheat fungus decimates crops and a new one has just been discovered. The fungus mutates rapidly and usually appears first in Africa. Much like the first human beings. Who also mutated rapidly.

It looks as though starvation is likely to become the most civilising influence in Africa.

 

Mass immigration to the US and Europe, and giving them all our money should help.

For thse that think Africans have a low IQ, then you have never clearly been to Africa.

I am at work in southern Tanzania and the majority of the staff are local people. We are a major exploration project exploring for base metals here.

I have worked all over the world and with a huge amount of nationalities. The Tanzanian geologists are some of the best i have ever worked with. In fact the worst of them is 10x better than the best American i have worked with.

We have about 75 local casual staff from the nearby village. The village is a traditional village of mud houses with grass roofs. No electricity or running water. A lot of had very little education and the rest none.

These guys are doing things after a couple of months training such as gravitational surveys that normally a western graduate needs 12 months + training - with a geophysics degree.

I have people working in the on sitr lab and to better standards than i can get in Perth - the mining capital of the world.

I think people need to visit Africa before they comment

Nothing in the OP expresses a political point, and his basis is that Africa isn't "civilized". the African economies are the fastest growing in the World. Literally all you had to do was google "African economies" and you would have gotten your answer to this stupid OP.

The OP asked rather or not African become "civilized". I pointed out the the African economies are the fastest growing in the World, thus answering his question. (Although Africa has had "Civilizations", and his question is coming from a Western perspective, I played along anyway) I don't understand what else there is to discuss. 50 years ago the Asian countries were just as poor as the African ones. I bet middle aged white men with terrible haircuts were reciting the same example you just did then too. Pathetic.

The closest pretty much everyone on this forum has been to Africa is National Geographic magazine, and pictures of Kalahari Bushmen. Seeing as most of them are also Americans, many of whom probably never even left their home state, it's hardly surprising their level of ignorance is so high. These people will ask you if they have toilets in Africa, and should they bring extra paper...

 

It depends what you call civilization , turning into an obedience machine like northern Europeans is savagery .

 

We know from archeologists that Adam and Eve were bipedal simian like animals, who wandered the African continent of Earth about 4 million years ago, and whom eventually evolved to become Egyptians and build the pyramids.

Afterwards, slavery of some other humans was not considered too much of a sacrilege by God, as Solomon was praised for using them so expediently to build temples of worship. It was not until about 1968, that the established word of God, recorded in the Book, was reinterpreted, and the darker skinned Africans, descendants of the Australopithecus africanus "Cain" were given equal rights and equal status to the lighter skinned descendants of the Australopithecus afarensis, "Abel.

 

The entire civilization known as the USA would be built using these natives? What planet are you on? Picking cotton and working the fields is not exactly building the entire US civilization.

I already pointed this out... they're far too aggressive and violent to become civilized. It would take far longer than a couple hundred years of FORCED breeding to breed it out of them. Much less to attempt to let them to their own devices and hope that they breed it out of themselves... never happen.

 

It's refreshing to see white supremists be this open about their bigoted beliefs. Not being acquainted with the God of love, you see a whole different Bible than I do, looking at it through the lense of your hate.
