Will Africa become civilised in less than 200 years?

Forgetting the value - whatever it is - of their intelligence, apart from a few countries like Ghana and Tanzania and possibly South Africa, the place is a cesspool of tribal and religious anarchy and political corruption. And of course resources exploitation by foreign corporations only too willing to forment local tensions for their own purposes.

 

For the concerns of both the "Shadow" and the "Saint", let it be known that the "Skull" post was a cynically humorous demonstration of a synthesis of two versions of human history, the scientific "Natural Selection" theory of Darwin, and the "Creation" theory derived from the collection of manuscripts discerned by the Council of Nicaea (convened by the Roman Emperor Constantine in the year 325 A.D.) to be the "truth" and subsequently bound together to become the "Holy Bible".

Since Skullkrusher is in actuality a former "dog" poster who has some affinity for the musings of the ancient Greek philosopher Diogenes, (the cynic), the reader should take that into consideration, before presuming that Skull has any particular bias other than a general perception that "All is Vanity".

 

What is this, I'd be asking if the United States will become civilized in two hundred years.

 

By the time Africans become civilised, the current so-called civilised world will be buried under an avalanche of pin numbers, product licence numbers, part numbers (including new bodily parts) and all those algorithms that run the stock, bond, mortgage and cocaine markets.

The human race will eventually die out of a surfeit of numbers.

Uh huh. And was it those peace-loving and pacifist white people who started the last two world wars, or was it the "aggressive and violent" Africans? Was it white Europeans who invented the means of utterly destroying their fellow man, or was it Africans?

Violence in war is expected. Violence in peace-time purposefully directed at peacable citizens is not.

 

You wax philosophical. I'm no closer to understanding your argument by this unintelligible post. Perhaps you believe that wisdom is implied in a cloak of inscrutability. I believe otherwise.
